GOP Leaves Bachmann Alone, Hopes She Behaves : Roll Call

“I think there are a lot of people in the leadership that wish she would step back so the Republican Party can put up a face that appeals to moderate and independent voters, and she does none of that,” one Republican operative said. “She has a segment of the Republican Party or the tea party that’s staunchly anti-government, anti-spending, anti-tax. There is no middle appeal with her, and I think there’s a great deal of concern that the Republican Party is going to be branded as the party of Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann.”

Has the political climate gone over your head? Did you not notice that almost all Conservatives were elected last go around? The majority of Americans are looking for a Conservative Government not socialist liberals or Neocon Repubs like Bush.

Why always with the personal attacks? How come you Libs don't just say how great your policies work?

Oh yeah, because they don't work.

Wrong you retard, a poll taken right around the time of the elections stated that Americans are equally displeased with both Democrats and Republicans.

lol, get a load of this. from the article.

one Republican operative said.

The GOP don't like Mrs. Bauchman, then they can go to hell.

If a Tea Partier doesn't get the GOP party nomination then they should mount a 3rd party POTUS challenge.

Hats off to Bachmann for raising five children and providing foster care for at least 20 other children. That's a class act in my book.

Did you read a fucking thing I wrote? American's in the majority want washing to quit spending. See the part about how that excludes BUSH REPUBLICANS from the mix??? Was it too hard to understand?

AMERICANS DON'T WANT PROGRESSIVES OR NEOCONS!!!!!!!!!

So, you have an article citing some unnamed Republican saying what Democrats always say (Being from Flaylo we can infer that this person doesn't actually exist).

The funny thing is you guys give her power by focusing on her. Most people wouldnt know she existed without you.

How can anyone maintain such hatred for the former governor of Alaska by using a hate-speech cut and paste logo as their identification on this forum? Is hatred the only thing that keeps them going? It's not a coincidence that the same poster targets a single one out of 242 Republican members of congress, who happens to be female, for constant abuse. Is it hatred for women or something more sinister?

It's been what now, TWO YEARS and what do we have to show for it?
Besides about to GO BANKRUPT.

How long do you expect for things to change?

I don't think anyone is denying that there hasnt been change.

Problem is people expected positive change. We didn't want things worse.

Things have actually gotten better, some of what happened the past two years was inevitable and bound to happen because of events that happened before Obama took office. And lets not kid ourselves into believing that all or one particular party is responsible for the screw ups, both parties bear the responsibility to some degree.

I'm going to have to disagree. I don't think unemployment over 9% and increasing inflation is "getting better" in any stretch of the imagination.
