The problem between Obama and the GOP at this point, Jim...is that the GOP doesn't trust Barack any further than they can throw him. He's shown time after time that whatever deals are struck in Congress to pass legislation mean nothing to him. If he doesn't like a provision in a law like ObamaCare than he simply discards it or postpones it indefinitely. How do you work with a partner that you don't trust?

The entire nation should be scared by the unlimited immigration. This country was built by immigrants but those immigrants came to this country and became Americans. They learned English, they worked to support themselves and assimilated into the American society. We are now in danger of losing our identity, the same problem Great Briton and many other European country's are having. Do we want a society that is divided by race or religion or some ethnicity? Do we want to be like the eastern European countries with their civil wars and ethnic cleansing? Immigration is great when it benefits out country but unlimited immigration will lead to disaster for us. Why is it only Republicans seem to care about this? To me it seems the Democrats seem only to be interested with winning. Right or wrong they don't care as long as they win. Look at Health care. The bill was passed with "0" Republican votes. 100% of the votes were Democrat and not one of them read the bill. They had to pass it to see what was in it. It's a disaster, It will bankrupt our country, but it's fine with the Dem's because they won. Is that the government we deserve? Is winning all we care about anymore? Illegal Immigration is a serious problem and we should not solve it by opening our borders to the entire world and letting each group form it's own faction and not assimilate into the American society. Granted something need to be done about the millions of people that were brought here as children and grew up here and have no history in another country but we continue to tolerate people walking across our border with no fear of being challenged. That needs to stop now and we can work on a plan to allow those that have assimilated into our society to stay.

Do you know the difference between immigration and illegal immigration?

The "problem" you speak of was created by liberals who ran ads encouraging more illegal immigration by promising freebies and amnesty for those who came across the border illegally. Once they were here demanding what was promised, the left started telling them that the mean old righties expect people to follow laws and want to secure the border. Only in liberal land is border security a bad thing.

So, anyone who talks of securing the borders before any reform is discussed is labeled as evil. Nice how liberals get people hooked on government, then scare people about what will happen if the other party gets in and starts expecting a little more personal responsibility. Yea, I suppose many are up in arms over the thought of leaving the liberal plantation because they've been convinced that they can't possibly make it on their own. Libs are experts at scaring people by destroying their self confidence.
