"Bad time to cut spending" huh? Well, when exactly IS a good time to cut spending? I never heard any "economist" say during the boom times that "this is a good time to cut spending". Hint: Politicians and their paid "economists" NEVER think it's a good time to cut spending as that lessens their control.

Plus, you can't "talk down" an economy. But politicians can pass a Debt Deal that makes the DOW tank the very next day and cause precious metals to skyrocket.
