Jimmy, help me out on this....what were the specific cuts that President Obama has offered?

"In his remarks, which come after Friday’s bipartisan deal to cut domestic spending by about $38 billion for the remainder of this budget year, Mr. Obama will not offer details but will set deficit-cutting goals, White House officials said. The numbers were still under discussion on Sunday."
Obama’s Big Deficit Speech Will Come Without Specific Plan To Cut Deficit

Ya' know, with that much wool pulled over your eyes, Jimmy, you're starting to look like a sheep!

This just shows that democracy fails when no one is willing to compromise.

    1. The GOP will in-fact raise revenue when the Bush Tax Cuts expire

    2. The Coburn Plan is the best plan I've see so far, it cuts EVERYTHING $9-trillion

    3. If the dems don't vote for a plan then the 9% unemployment rate will become a depression. I hope they can all eat cake...

No one argues that the debt needs to be addressed. But it will not be eliminated on the backs of the poor. While the wealthy enjoy the lowest tax rate ever, and millionaires get away without paying any taxes, due to loopholes, the GOP wants to cut, and eventually eliminate medicare. They basically would like all the poor people to go away. That would make more room for their constinuents, the rich. I mean, that IS where most of their campaign dollars come.

The Republicans will end up looking like a bunch of fools when this debt crisis is over. Fools that avoided their responsibilities and kicked the can down the road. Everyone agrees that they will be the big losers. Stay Tuned!
