Governor Ronald Reagan famously closed the state psychiatric hospitals in California. The Brown Adminstrations, before and after: Were actually not that insane!
The Tea Party wants to be likely more like Ronald Reagan even before the Twenty Mule Team(?)!

The Tea Party GOP is promising to do that, too! In fact, of course, Eisenhower was the President in the original witch hunt era, who had been a General, and likely knew more Communists than anybody else at the time: With the possible exception of Josef Stalin.
The Tea Party likes to holler "Socialism," more in the hostile sense that actually became the "Conservative" movement in the United States: Hostile to the former allies, and to people like Eisenhower, who knew them.

Going back to the intrusions into peoples lives, then there is how The Conservative Role Model actually became a part of it. The FBI had become a political instrument, mainly of J. Edgar Hoover! The Kennedys would eventually do battle with Hoover, the other pillar of the GOP Conservative Agenda.
On the other hand, with state and local governments, mainly going bankrupt: Then there is also the other impact of the dead pllankton, "Red Tide" now in office. If they practice what they preach, then they can likely close down state and local services with a vengeance. No more care of foreclosed properties, is likely in the offiing. It has been noticed that Health Care is not on the Tea Party Agenda. Sanitation is likely not in that agenda either. The Homeless camps can be everywhere!

The Lunatic Red Tide may actually do the people that actual favor(?)!. Getting rid of the princely, princessly, Other(?), expensively employed, who (1) helped to cause the downturn in the first place, and (2), then sucked up all the Stimulus money as though it were an entitlement, only for them: May actually be a good idea! The math that is done in Economics remains so far: $60,000.00 per year to create one public sector job, and $40,000.00 to create one private sector job. So when three jobs are needed: The best that even the Ivy League can do is to count to two.
There is this nasty habit on which the Red Tide relies--that legacy of Reagan who shuts things down. Gingrinch finally just shut even the Federal Government down!
