GOP in panic over Trump.....

Trump is the pimple on the Republican butt we get occasionally, just like the crazies (a la Vigilante or Keys, e.g.) were in Goldwater's time.

It will be popped as a result of the massive Dem victory coming, and we can start over with a more sane GOP.

"GOP in panic over Trump....."

And justifiably so.

Yes... Trump could well end Democrat control of the GOP. That is certainly panic worthy for the Progs.
Of course it would mean the end for them. Why do you think they are fighting him with everything they have? Trump knows who is who from the inside out. Their day is finished when he becomes president.

Can't wait until he cleans house and says................. You're fired!

Trump, realizing he will be the Republican candidate, has put the rest of the pack behind him, for now, and starts to concentrate on the TRUE EVIL in this race for the presidency!

Trump has lost one of four supporters in two weeks.

And the anti-Trump ads using his own words are coming.

Only makes him more popular!

  • USAF General Chuck Yeager endorses Donald J. Trump

Donald Trump's entire life has been made up of success and winning. He's a fighter that clearly loves America and would fight for our nation. Earlier I quoted Trump saying "I love America. And when you love something, you pro- tect it passionately--fiercely, even." We never hear that from Democrats or even from most Republicans. Donald Trump is saying things that desperately need to be said but no other candidate has shown the fortitude to stand up and say them. The criticisms of Trump are amazingly missing something. They are lacking in negative stories from those who work for him...

The Republican establishment is nearing full-blown panic about Donald Trump. The demise of Trump's candidacy has been predicted by centrist Republicans and the media alike virtually since the day it began. But there is no empirical evidence at all to suggest it is happening. Last month, the liberal ThinkProgress collated more than 30 predictions of the business mogul's imminent demise. One typical example was The Washington Post's Jonathan Capehart, who discerned "the beginning of the end of Trump" in mid-July, soon after the mogul criticized the Vietnam War record of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) Despite all that, Trump has led...

AND EVEN CNBC KNOWS.....

  • Voters would show up if Trump is on 2016 ballot

If Donald Trump were the GOP nominee, he would cause the highest voter turnout, relative to any other Republican hopeful. John Kasich, on the other hand, would keep people at home. No matter what party affiliation you consider, Trump brings them out. Republicans, Democrats and independents are all most likely to show up if Trump is on the ballot. (In our analysis, we assumed a constant variable: the Democrats nominating Hillary Clinton.) Not only do they show up to vote, but they vote for Trump. He's got the highest percentage of voters - across both parties and independents.

If the GOP wants to save our country from a Nazi style holocaust they need to lock him out of the convention.

You're paranoia is borderline insane. Trump may be a corrupt man unworthy of the office, but he has never even implied a desire to murder groups of people in cold blood.

A public service announcement:

All right, I have never heard of pumpernickel blvd before but that was fucking hilarious. Thank you.

Of course the GOP is very panicked.

The base is behaving like teenager having a temper tantrum, and are on the verge of throwing away a very winnable election.
That is what happens when you become entitled to peoples votes to the point that you can ignore the core values of your party.

The GOP no longer represents those that they claim to and are now losing elections that they should have clearly won.

I would not call that behaving like a teenager though - what makes you think they should not throw away an election when the 'electable' candidates are not those that represent them?

If our GOP is stupid enough to nominate Trump, he will be beaten worse than Taft in 1912. Trump could run third party, do better, and still be beaten soundly. Why? Trump is running on fear, not the core values of Republicanism.

And the GOP deserves to be soundly beaten.

That is the fact that you keep missing.

Exactly right.

The Democrats, for general election cycles beginning in '68 and ending in '88, won the popular vote just once in 6 tries. They used to be the party to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, but over the last few decades it has become the Republicans who do that, having won the popular vote just once in 6 tries since '92.

When turnout is up, it's advantage Democrats because the general, mainstream, moderate public is not batshit crazy. The problem is that they're lazy though because they don't particularly love politics, so they don't pay as much attention to the importance of midterm elections the way batshit crazy partisan nutjobs do, who never miss an opportunity to elect Republicans to take away their healthcare and privatize their social security.

No way Trump wins among Independents if he gets the nomination. He'll take all the usual red states, but having him as the nominee will cost the party all through the rustbelt because too many reasonable people who are adult enough to not light their hair on fire over every issue live in those states.

Tough, son. You are in for a full break down if you don't get in touch with reality.

Perhaps if you stopped playing with yourself, you might calm down enough to find out you really are a moron!
