Probably no one in the House or the Senate much cares if they get paid or not. President John Kennedy sent all of his pay to charities. . .which likely wouldn't miss much if even that were stopped, even this year. It was never clear, in "The Graduate," why no one mentioned "Charities," to Dustin Hoffman as the path to riches certain in America. Someone could have even said, "California Civil Service."

House approves bill to defuse debt ceiling - Jan. 23, 2013

The Republicans seem, once again, to be getting back to "All Of The Above," as usual,

The measure only calls for Budget Resolutions in each federal chamber. Senator Reid seems to have the votes to pass the thing in the Senate. The White House has announced that it will sign off.

None of the limited money will go to the Payroll Tax Holiday, or to the Make Work Pay Refundable Income Tax Credit. The Democrats are back to being Civil Rights liberals, again: With clearly no thought about the money!

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Money for the rich with no pump priming for the Low Income segments of the marketplace, as usual. Now, at least, anyone can suggest that after all, this new Presidential Term is already best described as being, "Like, So Gay." In fact. . .it is probably even politically correct to do that(?)!)

Obama's Refusal to Negotiate Over Debt Limit Not Based in Reality

Wouldn't you know the ignorant pop-culture educated left would praise a drug addicted rich dilettante philanderer president for giving his salary to charity. So much for Camelot.

Yep, the Tea Party was successfully smeared by the libs and now the debt will keep climbing. If the American people knew they were paying that debt directly out of their standard of living they would instantly object!
