GOP Debate Audience Boos U.S. Soldier in Iraq

I'm sorry but this is the thing with homosexuals. They believe EVERYTHING should be ABOUT THEM.

why this was even brought into the debate when we have so much more going on..

They are Americans and have every right to have their issues addressed like any other American.

Most Americans today what them to have the same rights as all other Americans.

There are still some people on the wrong side of history like you but that is quickly changing
Most Americans leave their sexual practices where the y should stay, at home, and not shove their sickness on every body else. Gays should have stayed in the closet, they were safer.

The years I spent in the military I witnessed hereto's humping pillows and jacking off in public, nudy mags, porn movies on CQ duty. Where did you get your info? Boy Scouts/

Safer? Oh the dramatics!

It is a sign that Americans do not approve of gays in the military. I agree.

It does nothing of the sort. It shows (AGAIN) that some in the GnOP are hypocrites. They only support some troops...mostly the ones that think and worship like them. A Muslim soldier probably would have gotten booed as well.

As for the American people and DADT, you couldn't be further from the truth...

Three fourths of Americans supported the lifting of DADT.

Poll: 78 percent favor repealing 'Don't ask, don't tell'
A muslim satan worshiper shot up Ft. Hood, and another one arrested for trying.

So you DO wish to also exclude Muslims from serving their country in our all volunteer military as well. Anyone other minorities you want to get rid of while you're at it?

Oh, and Muslims worship the SAME EXACT god that Christians do.

and republicans are anti military
Bull. It is the left that are anti military.

hardly, I am very pro military and have guided 3 sons into service.
I also do not boo gay soldiers, they are my brother in arms also

Let's take those evil bastards who booed out back, shall we???

People have the right to be assholes. This isn't China.

I'm hoping the OP wasn't an indictment on everyone there because I only heard a few boos.

The republican party is quickly becoming a party of exclusion. They have already excluded blacks, gays, Hispanics, the poor. It does not paint a pretty picture for the future of the party. There was another country last century that allowed a exclusionary party to rise to power during hard times. Are we headed for a repeat of history but with an American flavor?

Booing soldiers is a right we have and part of what they are fighting for. It is not right in the sense that they are fighting for us but it is our right of expression. People who spit on soldiers coming from Vietnam are hollering about this incident. People who condemned those things back then are condoning this today. It all depends on your perspective of what is right and wrong.

Even though we have a right of expression, to put down people by booing them is wrong. I live by treating others as I would like to be treated. If I disagree with them or their position I will tell them but booing, spitting on people or other acts of disrespect are not in my book. We are supposed to be a civilized nation but every day we have acts of disrespect by citizens and our elected representatives. However there are a lot more good Americans out there than bad.

So, you want people to lie to you. Got it.

I like you (hint... that was a lie).

Happy now?

People often confuse those in the service with those who make the political decisions.

We don't decide to go to war. In the interest of national security we lay down our lives for the benefit of those that spit on us. I'm sorry you don't see it that way but that's reality.

As they say, I may not agree with what you say, but god damn it I'll give my life for your right to say it!
