GOP Chairman Who Apologized For GOP Racism Comes Out As Gay

Bush"s religious advisor was gay.

His favorite press corp guy had a gay escort service.

Hmm seeing a pattern here.

Bush was gay? Is that the pattern? :eusa_whistle:

Of course.
lol

Got me, but he was on the cheering team in college.
For which team?

Ken Mehlman

[1] When queried, "[You] have asked a question people shouldn't have to answer." Mehlman is widely rumored to be gay, but has denied this, and complained that "those stories did a number on my dating life for six months." On 8 November 2006, Bill Maher claimed on Larry King Live that Mehlman was gay. CNN edited the allegation out of subsequent rebroadcasts and the program's transcript, and two days later Mehlman announced his resignation from the RNC, effective January 2007.

Why did he resign? Isn't the RNC gay friendly?

Probably because the Republicans lost the 2006 election. It's a pretty standard thing.

OMg, I guess I'm supposed to be impressed because this guy comes out and confesses he likes other MEN, and he's a Republican to boot.

good grief. what is SO SPECIAL ABOUT THESE PEOPLE and their sexual preference.

Between the "Pitchers" and the "Catchers", Bush was a member of the "Catchers".

This is the real Bush in the "center position". And yes, that really IS George Bush.

There are many reports from the "Skull and Crossbones" that Bush might have enjoyed more than a few "bones". Conservatives are like that.

GOP Chairman Who Apologized For GOP Racism Comes Out As Gay.

44 - Former RNC chairman Ken Mehlman: I'm gay

Jesus Christ. Who cares? It is freaking 2010.
Notice that he is not leaving the GOP. NOtice that no one from the GOP has condemned him. Notice that the only ones beating up on the GOP are the same moronic posters here who always do that. And note the comment from Steele:
Michael Steele, current chairman of the Republican National Committee, issued a statement of support for Mehlman. "I am happy for Ken," Steele said. "His announcement, often a very difficult decision which is only compounded when done on the public stage, reaffirms for me why we are friends and why I respect him personally and professionally."

And now Rabbi SUPPORTS "gay marriage"? Who knew?

Not a darn thing.
SO why do they demand special rights the rest of us don't have??

I was always confused why someone would assume that if someone was gay, they should automatically be supportive of gay marriage. I would be willing to bet alot of heterosexuals would be happier if straight marriage was illegal. Hopefully, someday, we can arrive at a time where a homosexual doesn't have to live in shame or fear being physically assaulted because of their sexual persuasion.

I'm glad you've finally realized that gay people should not be treated any differently.

So, tell us once and for all. Do you believe gays should be treated differently or not?

"After surrendering to Muslim terrorists and common criminals, aborting babies, and raising taxes, the Left’s favorite pastime is outing gay Republicans. Liberals claim to love gays, but their default comeback to a conservative they disagree with is to call him gay…Liberals insist on letting ay men leas Boy Scouts on overnight camping trips, but won’t let a gay man be a Republican."

"1. The media love describing the Republican Party base as “anti-gay”- as opposed to “anti-gay marriage.” Let’s see who’s anti-gay…
a. Gays are the victims of hate crimes, or as Republicans call them, “crimes.” But in the gay enclave of West Hollywood, law and order prevail…cops are everywhere…the average “Parking Restrictions” sign is longer than ‘Gone With the Wind.’
b. Gays have high incomes- a study a few years ago says 60 percent higher than the median income in America.
c. In Islamic countries, gays are punished with death.
Consequently, the three most important issues for any sane gay person ought to be crime, taxes, and the war on Islamic fascists…Manifestly, Republican policies are more pro-gay than Democrat policies and we don’t make a sport of outing political opponents who happen to be gay.

The Democratic Party supports criminals and Islamic terrorists but has no sympathy for taxpayers…

2. Democrats love using the tax code to enact lots of special-interest goodies with great appeal to suburban soccer moms but of absolutely no use to most gays, such as
a. Child tax credits
b. Tuition tax credits
c. Child-care credits
d. Education savings accounts
e. Student loans
f. The Family and Medical Leave Act
g. There is only one issue more important to Democrats than raising taxes, and that is keeping abortion legal at all stages of pregnancy. This is probably not a big issue for most gays."

Definitely deserves a thread. The religious right seriously needs to open up a bit and openly accept these people in their political party. It's not accepting them in their church or home. These people are here, they are everyday people, smart, dumb, rich and poor. The Repubs either have to make room for them or crumble imho.
