Only 49% of the population pays taxes and the "rich" account for about ~34% of all federal tax revenue.

Thats a lie, the poor do pay taxes, the working poor that is. Plus a big amount of those rich get most of their tax burden written off anyways you dumb facker.

Taxes may be taken out of their paychecks on payday, but if they get paid back more at tax return time than they put in, they are not really paying taxes, they are receiving more money than they paid in. I pay $10,000 in federal taxes every year, and only get about $2,000 back....I my friend...am a tax payer. Someone paying in $3,000 in federal taxes a year but get back $7,000 are getting back $4,000 more than they paid in...they are not a tax payer. There's a difference.

The Republican budget proposal says our worst days are ahead and the only way to avert a calamity is for working families and seniors to suffer so the rich can get richer. The Republicans say their assault on the middle class is necessary to avoid "debt, doubt and decline." That's bull. The Republican plan repeals the Affordable Care Act, makes savage cuts to Medicaid and ends Medicare as we know it to give massive tax breaks to the super-rich.

The GOP budget is an immoral and callous clarion call for the middle class to pay more and get less. It promotes prosperity for the few instead of opportunity for all. It says we should be on our own instead of bound together by common purpose.

Amen to that.
