yup--I'll give it a shot ! ty

Ive got the latest DirectX--maybe a video card problem
people report that such nVidia, Intel, and ATI drivers do not work
with Google Earth. To avoid this problem, please do the following _after_
installing XP SP2: Go to the manufacturer's website, download, and
install the latest driver. Note: Refer to the driver *version number*
-- not the date -- to determine how up-to-date your driver is.

I've got nVidia ( RIVA 128/128X)---Im trying to find the newest driver for it now.

LOL...Next thing is speed...this thing is graphic city...so dial-up will be slow, I think. But if you can get it working it's worth it.

Thanks--got it going a bit in the GL mode whatever the hell that is---guess my DirectX has "issues" with my hardware.

Found my apt tho !!!!!!!! Thanks for the help!

I tried to figure out how far off of real time the pix were and why some areas were hidef and others low. No luck, any ideas?

How?
Must be the initial location thing where it moves an zooms..

Another neat thing...wanna fly? Tilt the view with the buttons on the bottom, then hold the button on the with the up arrow. Moves ya right along.
