The announcement of the death of NFL great Steve McNair sent waves of emotion through the sports community. Everyone assumed that he had just been in the wrong place at the wrong time. But...now we know the truth, which I was suspicious of all along. He wasn't in the wrong place...he was in the wrong woman.
Steve...if you could just keep your pants up and your heart and mind right, you'd be alive today. It was a suicide of sorts. He may not have shot himself, but he put himself in front of the gun the day he started fooling around with someone other than Mrs. McNair.
I want to pity the loss...I'm sorry that his family has had to go through this, but I can't feel sorry for him.
