Good grief. His accuser has a dossier full of false allegations against important people. How did a court let this sort of an insanity happen to a man who likely would have been a good ally in France?

Makes you wonder.

there is a long established pattern here, of affairs and "forced entry".. this jagoff used his clout to skate once again...

i hope women rise up against dirtbag animals like this, he has a long history of forcing his creepy old lecherous ass on unsuspecting women around the world. and we want to be more like europe ?? i don't get it...

i hope at least his visit to nyc will register and ring a few bells in his pervert head. if you think nothing happened that night, or any other time with this guy.... well... it's sickening what people are able to get away with.

No, it doesn't.

There's been a defacto "Guilty until proven innocent" with sexual abuse cases for a long time, because as they say in the credits for SVU, they are "Particularly Henious"...

What about the Duke LaCrosse Team? The woman was a stripper and a prostitute, and her rape claims were taken seriously until they actually did some investigation.

There is no doubt that Strauss Khan had sex with this woman. The only question is whether it was consensual. She said it wasn't, he kept his mouth shut, and an investigation got to the truth. It was ugly, but the system worked, and frankly, I can't work up a lot of sympathy for the guy, since he opened himself up to this kind of thing by cheating on his wife to start with.

Im no fan of socialists butt it seems to me DSK was set up. I took a quick look at your
website and couldnt be bothered reading it because i thought it sucked btw.

Looked like a earthlink free webspace type chit, unreadable and over dramatic imho, how
about upgrading to something more up to date.

Im sure women around the world feel safer with you watching their backs

Predicated, no doubt, on the fact that you have no idea what a ‘socialist’ is.

You were goin’ real good there ‘til you got to the sympathy part.

Of course there’s noting compelling you to have sympathy for him, but whether he cheated on his wife or not is irrelevant.

One may have sympathy for him in that he was indeed subjected to the ignorant and errant doctrine of ‘guilty until proven innocent.’ Yes, the system did work, but the idea that DSK ‘got away’ with something or that justice hasn’t been served is a continuation of that ignorance.

First, I'm not sure why you combined my statement with Boycott's without attribution.

Second, of course the fact that this guy was a womanizer, had been accused of unwanted sexual advances in the past, gave credence to this woman's story. The fact he immediately tried to flee the country was also an indication of guilt.

Keep in mind, he was not released because the forensic evidence cleared him. The forensics supported her claim. He was released because her past lies and actions undermined her credibility as a witness.

There's a very good possibility she was raped. We'll never know. But if he kept it in his pants, he'd have never had a problem.
