Gotta love Charlie!!
I would think it may wind up that part of Christmas may also be a miraculous battle---The Battle that Saved Christmas.
Wow. Had to look that one up.
This is part of a more underlying problem with this nation to day. The minority feels their rights out weigh the majority.
Just look at this election. 4 million vote differential between Bush and Kerry yet the minority thinks that they deserve the victory.
How about all this religious bullshit. 77% of americans consider themselves christians yet we have the most vocal efforts from the minority of atheists, muslims and jews trying to eliminate christian values from this country.
The whole PC culture is based on the minority outwieghs the majority. If one person is offended by something, the whole group has to bend their will and be offended so that the one person who spoke up isnt offended anymore.
This is what is wrong with our country today and its driving me mad.
Things may be getting better though. I've seen more articles in the paper and elsewhere written on this topic than in previous years. People are getting sick of the stores and schools trying to take christ out of christmas.
i thought i had the right to freedom of religion? what are the PC libs doing to my rights? where the hell is the aclu on this one
Thanks for posting the Krauthammer article. I had heard talk about it on Fox and was going to try to find it on the Internet. Other Jews who work for the Fox Network indicated that they do not feel the celebration of Christmas is a threat to their religion in any way. They put up Christmas lights, play the Christmas music, attend the programs at their children's schools, and get involved in the celebration to the extent that they can. That's how the American "melting pot" is supposed to work--until the ACLU came along with their agenda to replace the majority with the minority and their ensuing lawsuits to make it so.
He does work in mysterious ways!!!
