This is what the Democratic Party has come to. Pretty sad. :(

This month, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics (CREW) wrote to FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski asking him to revoke the broadcasting licenses of Rupert Murdoch. A ban would include any and all news organizations affiliated with Murdoch’s umbrella organization, News Corp, which owns Fox News.

Here we go again. Gawd I hate this. Eliminate opposing speech.

Just to add to it, they evidently think MSNBC is right on the money, objective as the day is long.

What are they afraid of? Never mind. The answer is clear.

.

GE/NBC and this President have been in bed since day one. Anyone with an ounce of common sense knows that. GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt, his 'Jobs Czar?' What a scam.

Ah, more hate and fear. It's never pretty no matter what the source.

[don't you agree, paulitican?]

Disappointed In Obama, Black Panthers Openly Consider 'The Bullet'...

The lefty mainstream news can't stand that Fox reports on news that they don't want the public to know about. It's the alternative reporting that the left calls lies, when they aren't.
One recent example was this lady on MSNBC that said Fox reported on AZ. wanting Hawaii to verify Obama's birth certificate. She said it wasn't news worthy and that the report was a lie. Never mind that it is in all of the local news and newspaper's in AZ. She doesn't think that the rest of the nation should have alternative sources of news. Talk about totalitarian mentality.
They must be shut down,so that the mainstream news can control us and what they deem worthy news, in what we should or should not know.
The left hate freedom of speech.

Fox is good entertainment but they DO cater to the lowest of the low lying fruit in America. It is a sad statement on America that their ratings remain so high.

They certainly blur the line between opinion and fact and they do it very subtly by distracting with a lot of bling....glitzy sets and backgrounds, sound effects, short, oft-repeated soundbites, and so on.

If you look carefully the FOX News experience is not too much unlike a trip to Wal-Mart (yuck!)

In a "perfect" world I suppose there wouldn't have to even be a discussion about "censoring" FOX because consumers would do it naturally through the free market in their demand for QUALITY.

Yet....FOX endures. They point to their "high" rating as proof of (ahem) quality.

Kinda like Wal-Mart cites their status as the nation's largest retailer as THEIR proof of "quality" when we all know better!

Oh palease... try watching that fruitcake fest known as CNN, MSNBC or NPR... low lying fruit?

They cater to the mental tubers.

It's an indication of how truly, truly evil the left is. If they could, they would go around rounding up political dissenters and hanging them in the public square.

It's actually more of an indication as to how "cocooned" the left is. They live in such a self-reinforcing system of lockstep beliefs, that anything contrary to their "values" completely freaks them out.

Tried and true Stalinist technique. Once they're interred in Siberian permafrost they never interfere with whatever program you have on your front burner.
The favorite Soviet method of stifling political opposition was the pistol shot to the back of the head just above where the neck meets the skull. The centers for respiration and heartrate were the first things eliminated by the round. They left nothing to chance a la Mr Jared Loughner.
'Choomwagon' aka Barack Hussein Obama is just working his way up to that level. He'll be "More flexible after the election".

Which begs the question, what has happened to the fourth estate? FOXNews is gold standard of all the news outlets now. Brings home just how low the rest of the news media has fallen.

I record "The Five", "O'Reilley Factor", "Hannity" and "On the Record" on FOX on weekdays.
I record "Hardball", "The Ed Show" and "The Last Word" on MSNBC on weekdays.

I watch them at my leisure, skipping all the commercials.

Two things you can be sure of:

The shows on FOX will always present liberal guests, and in some segments, ONLY liberal guests, while the shows on MSNBC will present conservative guests only very rarely.

MSNBC shows are offensive hate fests, filled with phony and snide remarks, always at the expense of those who dare to be conservatives, while the shows on FOX are entertaining and funny and the FOX hosts have the grace and sense of humor to - sometimes - laugh at themselves.

As far as news, there is nobody on MSNBC even comparable to Shepard Smith.

Welcome aboard, and shame on the nutjobs for negging you so hard.

Hmmm...where are all the lefties with their analogies of how Nazi Germany this sounds?

What is scary, is that I visited China on business back in the 1990's, and the same tactics are being employed here in the good ole USA. Red dragon making it's way.
