Good ol' Rasmussen

Gee I guess if Axelrod keeps that man on a leash, you can get anything swing your way.

Now for those of you that don't know. Axelrod demanded that Gallup be sued. So in the middle of an election Axelrod made mr. I'll cover for Janet Reno...I killed so many children actually stopped the process.

...now has Obama's approval rating at 54%. That's the highest it's been since July 2009.

When did Rasmussen decide to start using real-world numbers??

Rasmussen Reports™: The Most Comprehensive Public Opinion Data Anywhere

There poll also says only 41% think the country is heading in the right direction I guess real world numbers depends greatly on what one wants to see.

They could be waiting to see if the Republicans will deal. If not, they're right, we won't be going in the right direction. If 68% wants it and they get it; they'll feel better. If they feel better, they'll spend more. More spending means more jobs will be created to meet the demand and more taxes collected to close the deficit. Win-win!

Or they could be waiting to see if the President will deal while everyone may like the idea of taxing the rich more they also know that alone will solve nothing.

Nobody said taxing alone would solve everything. The point is to show we're going in the right direction and the economy will take care of the rest.

Obama has been in office for almost four years now has been reelected for two years he and his party controlled both the House and the Senate they still control the White House and the Senate for most of this time a majority has felt the country is heading in the wrong direction. There is a message in that it being that maybe the President should modify his positions that was a message Bill Clinton got and understood during his first term it's one it seems Obama still hasn't.

The democrats didn't have filibusterproof control of congress. The GOP were abusing the filibuster like never before.

If the dems did have full control, things likely would be significantly better by now.

Maybe this time it's the other side that needs to modify its position. Most economists will tell you, we can't do it by cuts alone.
