Yep...good news for Britain, the burglar in this story didn't use a gun when he robbed this house......he tied up the home owner, then proceeded to beat him to death.....
That is a relief for those worried that he might have used a gun, or more importantly, that the home owner might have had an illegal gun which he might have used to save his own life from the burglar who beat him to death.
Since guns are banned and illegal in Britain, it would have been a serious breach in the law had the home owner had a hand gun to stop this burglary.....in fact, some might say it would have been far worse to have used a gun to save his own life, than being beaten to death...
The Burglar showed no remorse for the killing as he was sentenced....
