When the price of something goes up, demand falls off (call it conservation) and supply increases (call it new production). We're seeing a tectonic shift.

The entire premise of this thread is a joke.

Price does not determine supply and demand, but rather, supply and demand determine the price.

Apparently the author of that little quote never passed Econ 101.

Since they are such big competitors of America in oil consumption, I wonder how much the Chinese are having to pay for a gallon of gas. Or those who live in India.
