Good and evil

Menegle (who was a living human being filled your mumbo jumbo crap) believed he was doing good, just like Charles Manson. BECAUSE they did not believe a God exists that says thou shall not murder.

People who don't believe in the God of the Bible can pull a new definition of good and evil out of their ass whenever the mood strikes.[/QUOTE]

Mengele believed he could torture and kill Jews because he viewed Jews as sub-human lab rats. That was because he was a Nazi, not because he was a Catholic. Charles Manson was a nutter; no religion should be blamed for him. It is true God says not to murder, but there are a lot of folks -- Hindu, Buddhist, even atheist -- who don't believe in your God and still very much agree that murder is evil.

I don't expect to change any minds here, but please don't assume that everyone who doesn't share your faith is evil or a sloppy thinker.

I agree with what you said and you read too much into my statement which was directed at a different point. Many atheists are good people, but their justification for being good can change at any time based upon mere feelings.

The belief that any act is good or evil is an opinion. Some of those opinions in regard to murder, rape, are universal or damn close to it. However, there are other acts such as abortion, assisted suicide, mercy killings, killing in to defend one's honor that would be consider evil in one culture or time period but not in another. Good and evil are relative to the culture.

.
that is an opinion of jurisprudence and not of religion, the Almighty and the Everlasting.

.
Well, let's look at from a religious angle. Marrying outside the church is a mortal sin in the Catholic Church. Marrying outside the church in a protestant church is nothing. In most Christian churches, killing a spouse for adultery is certainly an evil act but not in some Muslim societies. Bigamy would be considered evil in most modern day churches but not some Mormon sects.

Good vs Evil are elements of the universe either can be purged, doing so in entirety is religion and correctly is Eternal there is nothing subjective about the required feat - ... accordingly, failure is to perish.

No mediator, no judge=no justice, no understanding.
The imposter had never done the job so we are still scattered in language and precepts and subjective opinions based on affiliations not reason
