"God's plan" is the random shit that happens in this crazy world...

...there is no point in trying to make sense of it.

Children die of leukemia.

Good men go bankrupt while corrupt men get rich.

Innocent girls get raped and their rapists go unpunished.

Fires and floods kill people and devastate communities.

There is no plan, at least, no plan that makes sense to us human beings.

In the Book of Job, we are told not even to question what God does, because we cannot understand it.
There is no ‘god’ as perceived by theists, and consequently no ‘plan.’

And the book of Job is a myth written by men.
But, you have to admit....Job is an interesting look into the mind of ancient patriarchal men.....a bet between their god and satan (not an evil one in this story, just the head of the angels) and they get to dump on this guy over and over and over again.....for a bet.
Jews believe that Satan is an angel who works for God. His job is to tempt man: to test man.

As christianity stole so much of Jewish theology, It's not surprising that Christianity holds much the same belief.

Christianity is effectively a sect of Judaism.

Saying they stole their beliefs from Judaism is like saying every other sect of Judaism stole theirs.

That really doesn't make sense. Biblical Christianity is subject to widely varying interpretation. That's why Christianity has splintered into so many different sects/subdivisions, many of those sects being hostile to one another. If there was consensus as to what was "biblical", there wouldn't be such divisions

So is Judaism. In fact this is no different than any other religion.

It isn’t a weakness. It is a strength.

I think you will find that Judaism has fractured nothing like Christianity with almost too many sects/subdivisions to count.

You may find the various new-fangled versions of Christianity to be a strength but when those sects/subdivisions are antagonistic to one another, It's a bit of a stretch to suggest that is a strength.

And I would suggest that is more about the sheer number of people involved.

I don’t believe the antagonism is any more or less than any other division. Certainly not near as antagonistic as what experience here by the Jews here.

So what exactly is your point?

Satan raised issues against Gods universal sovereignty in Eden with the rebellion. He was telling Eve basically--If we knew both sides( good and bad) we could choose for ourselves, our path to happiness and not have to listen to Gods advice on those matters. Mortals chose this by rebelling in Eden. Gods kingdom will cure it all.
Todays world-2Timothy 3--
when the OT teaches--an eye for an eye--God was assuring all--JUSTICE will prevail. They will not go unpunished.

No because if we don't choose God the creator, then we suffer and die. Satan exploited that God gave the choice to Adam and Eve that they have the free will to die too.

God had to let the issues be resolved, once and for all time. The only other choice was kill the 3 rebels. No one ever born would have gotten life. Gods justice made sure life went on. Gods kingdom will cure it all.
God warned Adam, its their fault, they chose this for all. Gods kingdom will put an end to this system.
