    GOD’S GOV’T vs. HUMAN GOV’T.

You lily-livered bunch of Radical Right Wing wimps who complain that human gov’t has too many rules, regulations and mandates ain’t seen nothing yet. If you think man made gov’t is too much, when GOD sets up his kingdom (Government) with it’s rules, mandates and regulations and you protest GOD will possible kick you butt and kick you out.

The nation of Israel complained about GOD’s rules, regulations and mandates and we see what happed to them. The word of GOD, the bible, is a book of rules, regulations and mandates the nation of Israel could not live by them and neither will most of us.

GOD gave Israel food stamps, Manna, after the delivered them from Egypt on the way to the land he had given them.

He fed a multitude with two fish and a bottle of wine. A hand out?
Universal healthcare he healed the sick, blind and lame with a promise to wipe out sickness and death.

Most likely under GOD’s Government he will have entitlement programs because he believed in taking care of the poor.

GOD distributed the wealth when he commanded us to pay taxes and Gleaning of the fields. Leviticus 19:9-10 and Deuteronomy 24:19-22

Sell all your possession, give to the poor and follow me. Luke 12;33
    Is GOD a Socialist?

What is the difference between anti-government right wing radicals and anti-government Militia groups?

How hard will it be for Romney with his millions to enter the kingdom of heaven. Matt 19; 16-26.

I would have to say Democrats are more in tuned with Christianity then Right Wing Radicals.

What place, either in reality or in mythology is more TOTALITARIAN than either heaven or hell?

Talk about loving your freedom but then also loving the concept of GOD and longing to get into heaven is proof positive that you must be RETARDED

The Left puts its faith in a federal bureaucracy filled with waste, bloat, sloth and corruption, and the Right puts its love in some all-seeing, all-powerful mystical, mythical deity and religion that have caused at least as much misery as they have reduced.

I'm sure this faith in a higher power provides comfort for many, that's great, but outside of that it's a massive waste of time.

Why do people who want to sit on the sidelines and jeer at both teams so often exhibit a lack of logic when trying to explain themselves?

An attempt to equate how the "left" views national politics with how religious nuts view their fairy tale.......is dopey.

We get it......you are fed up with the negatives found on both sides of the aisle. That being said....is it still not a good idea for you to determine for yourself which side has the most positives.........and throw your effort in that direction. Or........if neither of the two biggies has any positives in your mind......how about articulating an alternative.....with some specifics and with a path to reality?

    Yup, fair questions.

As far as throwing my effort in one direction, I have strong and fundamental disagreements with both ends of the political spectrum. Picking a side and running with it would require me to do what partisans do - spin, deny, divert, distort, lie - and I will not do it. There's far more than enough intellectual dishonesty being spewed as it is. Being honest at all times has served me well so far, no reason to change. I'm a lousy liar, holy crap, ask my wife.

Regarding the thought that "neither of the two biggies has any positives...", that's not what I'm saying. In fact, I'd say the opposite is true. Both sides have several good ideas, they both have passion for America, they both sincerely want what's best. The problem is that both sides are now so paralyzed by adherence to their ideology that they're afraid to give an inch. Everybody has to be a mini Rush Limbaugh or a mini Keith Olbermann with their hyperbole, insults, name-calling, and outright lies. And since these people vote, the politicians are following their lead.

So I guess my little agenda (as if it really matters) is to shine a light on what is happening in an attempt to move a few people away from the intellectual dishonesty and towards honest communication. Contemporary political discourse is currently far more about ego than it is about solutions. Humility is perceived as weakness that must be attacked. Nothing of lasting substance can be created until people can get over themselves and work together.

Yikes, I sound like a hippie.

Anyway, my two cents, worth every penny.

i hate to break this to you.....but in "Gods" kingdom we are not going to be sheep herders or even living like we are now......if God does exist the technical advancements in his world will be Quite advanced.....there will be none of the problems you talk about....and if you remember only what....200,000 people are supposed to be going to the "Heavenly Realm"....the rest of us are supposed to live on the "Earthly" Paradise....

You need to do two things.

First, give uncle sam half of your income. (taxes)

Second, give half of your income to the church. (Charity)

Now you have both ends covered, and try to keep that weak shit out of here.

Have you not found any people that support one of the two major parties whom you would consider intellectually honest?

I guess my best answer to that would be "I don't know".

I'm sure there are. But the conversation is being controlled by the partisans, and that's the problem. They make the most noise, they are the most bombastic and aggressive, so the spotlight shines on them for better or worse (okay, worse). I guess it's human nature - when you're getting attention for hyperbole, the natural impulse is to turn it up another notch and avoid anything to the contrary.

Then the politicians do it, they're committed to it, they want to get re-elected (I'm a big advocate of term limits, by the way) and the cycle just hardens and deepens.

I'd guess that's part of the reason Obama's "Change" message resonated with so many voters in the middle - people are sick of this garbage and he convinced them that he was different. He's not, of course, he's just another politician, but the message was clear.

Seems to me the only thing that would begin to reverse this is if top people from both parties publicly shook hands and made nice. I just don't see it happening.
