An angel is nothing more than a messenger. Angels are mankind in either their premortal, mortal, or postmortal state. The word create does not mean to create out of nothing. I believe that the spirit of man is immortal. I also believe that resurrected beings with their resurrected bodies are immortal. Only in this life do we experience death or the separation of the spirit from the body. Once we are out of this life, immortality will reign. Death only exists in a mortal world.

"God" seems to be a total dick, wanting everyone miserable, denying simple pleasures, saying to kill, etc.

We wanted to be like God. This earth life was and is a way for us to become strong against evil. It is our choice. Yes, some will succumb to it and will not be found worthy. But some will not succumb to it and they will find everlasting joy in the kingdom of heaven.

There are various places mankind will go to once they leave this life. Not all of them are called Hell. They are described in Doctrine and Covenants 76.

True happiness only comes by having free will. If God were to force us (as Satan wants to do) we would never find happiness. God is a being who has the most happiness. We all knew that and wanted to be like him. He has given us the opportunity. All we need to do is choose to be good. Although God knows the end from the beginning, this in no way violates our free will. He allows us to be tempted because this is the only way we will be able to become strong. We need to learn to resist evil and love righteousness. Some fall but if they don't fall too far they will be saved into a kingdom. It may not be the kingdom of God but it will not be the hell where the devil and his angels will reside. God is not a god of force. ISIS is not of God. There are many who profess to be of God but are not.

Without the Holy Ghost to guide them a strict law was necessary. Laws against Homosexuality, Sorcery, Witchcraft, Adultery and other sins which God deemed essential to institute among this hard hearted people were necessary to try and keep them from degenerating into a wicked society. When Christ came, the Melchizedek Priesthood was restored and the gift of the Holy Ghost was upon them after Christ's ministry. This is what is meant by having the law written upon the fleshy tablets of their hearts. When Christ came he fulfilled the Law of Moses with a higher law. I see few quotes from Fat Bastardo regarding the fulfilling of the law of Moses by Jesus Christ. He may have read his bible but he has little if any understanding of it. The gospel of Jesus Christ is not the Law of Moses. Jesus came to fulfill the law and give us a higher law.

Because of the wickedness of the children of Israel after leaving Egypt, Only two people were allowed to enter the promised land of the original people who were in the exodus of Egypt. They were a hard hearted people that were given a lesser law because they were not willing to receive the higher law. Yes it was harsh but it was given in righteousness to keep a stiffnecked people from falling into a wicked and perverse state. But the higher law of God that he would have his people live can be found in the teachings of Jesus. If Israel would have been willing, they would have received the higher law and would have seen the face of God.

so they existed before god, or were they created by god? Unless god came later, he should be able to kill souls and angles. Is he god or is he subject to some higher authority?

If god is the creator, how can angels and souls exist at the same time as god? Who created them, if not god? The universe is not immortal (though it seems that way), so how can souls be? What happens to god when the universe ends? Our sun will go out before that time, so where does god go when that happens?

If the souls always existed, then how are our spirits created. Are we using a spirit from the past? We don't get our own? If the used soul was 'saved' in the past, does that mean if we mess up the used soul will go to hell? Is that fair to the soul?

Preaching from some translated bible is not proving your case. Think of speaking to a court room and judge instead of a church congregation.

God wants us to be like him.

Matthew 5:48
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

We wanted to be like God. This earth life was and is a way for us to become strong against evil. It is our choice. Yes, some will succumb to it and will not be found worthy. But some will not succumb to it and they will find everlasting joy in the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 7:21
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

There are various places mankind will go to once they leave this life. Not all of them are called Hell. They are described in Doctrine and Covenants 76.

Jesus taught:

John 14:2
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.


True happiness only comes by having free will. If God were to force us (as Satan wants to do) we would never find happiness. God is a being who has the most happiness. We all knew that and wanted to be like him. He has given us the opportunity. All we need to do is choose to be good. Although God knows the end from the beginning, this in no way violates our free will. He allows us to be tempted because this is the only way we will be able to become strong. We need to learn to resist evil and love righteousness. Some fall but if they don't fall too far they will be saved into a kingdom. It may not be the kingdom of God but it will not be the hell where the devil and his angels will reside. God is not a god of force. ISIS is not of God. There are many who profess to be of God but are not.

Creation in the bible does not equate to ex nihilo creation. If ex nihilo creation were possible, God should have created us all perfect. The part of man that makes up his mind is self existent. It was not created or made and neither indeed can be. It has existed forever. It is known as our intelligence.

God created a spiritual body for our intelligence from eternal spiritual matter. Once he did this, the spirit bodies of mankind were immortal and could never be destroyed. Through this process God became the Father of our spirits and we became the children of God.

Upon coming to this earth, mankind receives a physical body. That body is subject to death but we will all receive a physical body again after we die in the resurrection. That body will become immortal and will never be destroyed.

Doctrine and Covenants 93:29
29 Man was also in the beginning with God. Intelligence, or the light of truth, was not created or made, neither indeed can be.

Acts 17:29
29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.

God, having a perfect knowledge of the past, present, and future, placed two innocent beings, who had no knowledge of good and evil, into the Garden of Eden knowing full well what the outcome of the situation would be. They even had a tempter there to tempt them. The fall of Adam and Eve was part of God's plan. But God couldn't place them into a fallen state unless they transgressed the law of God. Therefore God gave them a command not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. By their disobedience, they would enter the fallen state. God knew this would happen because he prepared a Savior from before the foundation of the world.

1 Peter 1:
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

If God did not want the fall of Adam and Eve to happen, then he would never have put Satan on the earth, or placed two innocent beings, not knowing good or evil, in a situation that he knew full well what the outcome would be. He would also not have prepared a Savior from before the foundation of the world to save us from our fallen state.

God did want Adam and Eve to gain the knowledge of good and evil and progress in this fallen state by learning to overcome evil and to choose good in and of themselves. In other words it was a school ground for progression. it was also a chance to receive a body, albeit a mortal body, to learn to control it and live with it. In the end God would resurrected all mankind and we would have our bodies forever and ever but not subject to mortality but immortality.

Then he knows before we are born what we will do. He could kill us in the womb and prevent our actions instead of condemning people to some place of punishment like hell (if it exists). If he does not want us to 'sin' why let us be born, or change the circumstances that might make us take those actions.

It is illogical.

He wants to send out souls to hell or does he actually want us in heaven? And if there is nothing after we die, why try to scare people by telling them there is something after death that might be fantastic or horrific. Not in between? Fear mongers intimidate, truth and kindness sets us on the path to carry those lessons and share with others.

A heaven is nice to think of but the intimidate is evil and those that push those ideas are as bad as ISIS. Obey or else. Convert or else. With so many christians and others being killed they become the ones to determine what religion is in their part of the world and demand absolute conformity or you loose your head. More than 150 muslims and christians have been beheaded for not fasting, including not drinking water, during the day in one of the hottest months and hottest years they have had in a long time. Non-muslims are not obliged to fast, nor women who are pregnunt, young children and elderly or sick that have special needs. People like ISIS don't care. I that really what god is like?
