Published December 12, 2011

CERN
A proton-proton collision at the Large Hadron Collider particle
accelerator at CERN laboratory in Geneva that produced more than 100
charged particles.
The world of physics is abuzz with speculation over an announcement
expected Tuesday, Dec. 13, from the CERN laboratory in Geneva -- home
of the world's largest particle accelerator, the Large Hadron Collider
(LHC).

The announcement, planned for 8 a.m. EST (2 p.m. CET), will address

Ive never understood how a particle can reveal God. I mean yes the majesty of his actions, but only He can reveal Himself.

Believers will believe what they believe no matter the evidence presented by whom.

It is kind of a cool name for a science project, though.

It's considered the Holy Grail of scientific discovery. Ergo the nomenclature.
They could have called it the Fred particle for all I care.

I would have preferred The Fred particle in retrospect - less controversy for the sake of controversy.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Mr. H. again.

Bummer!

Ugh, you need to look up what the 'god' particle is before starting something like this. It has nothing to do with god whatsoever. It is named that because it is supposed to be the particle that defines matter, essentially 'creating' it.
