Today we have just the opposite political situation as what we had during the first years of VietNam. LBJ created the war in Vietnam and America didn't even have a 9-11 attack to blame it on. It was a lame Navy exercise in the Tonkin Gulf. Today we have a democrat president in charge of a substantial Military operation in Afghanistan and a presence in Iraq and Bosnia and he acts like he doesn't give a damn one way or another. The Obama administration supports the rebels in Libya with US NATO planes and the A.P. and the rest of the left leaning media seems to think the end justifies the means. Meanwhile American sissies are no longer in jeopardy of being drafted so they mill around pretending to be against capitalsim while the mission in Afghanistan is virtually forgotton or at least not addressed by the media. The bottom line is that a radical democrat administration supported by the media can get away with anything.
