God forgivevme for saying this,BILL CLINTON WAS A FAR BETTER POTUS THAN OBAMA

This has to be the most slanted post I have ever seen. Obama hasn't compromised? Have you had your head buried in the sand for the past 4 years? Did you watch the debt ceiling debates? Did you see the GOP shoot down Obama's jobs bill? Zero compromise from the GOP and you have the balls to say this?

And I love it that for years you guys had a good case that Carter was "the worse", but clearly GW Bush was the worst president ever. And history will judge him so. At least ONE OF the worst.

You are clearly insane and stupid.

Clearly you have had your head in the sand. No Obama hasn't compromised. I did watch the debt cieling debate. The GOP folded and Obama got what he wanted: The debt ceiling was raised with no cuts to spending. Not surprisingly we got a credit downgrade immediately afterwards.

Obama's "jobs" bill was nothing of the sort. The House has sent 15+ bills to the Senate that would encourage growth in the private sector. Both Obama and Reid have refused to even discuss them.

And dont even get me started on Obamacare.

You would say the sun wasnt shining at noon, wouldn't you?

You must have forgot how the GOP got away with making 900 billion in cuts to programs like Planned Parenthood.

But you are right. Obama won the Debt Ceiling issue. Add that to his list of his accomplishments. Thanks for admitting it.

You do realize that nothing was actually cut right?

BTW considering the instability the President has encouraged in the world, I can't exactly argue that he is free of the blood of mass murder. He might not directly have pulled any triggers, but he sure as heck has been encouraging it.

And this summer, the Occupy groups along with their masterminds on the left plan to recreate the summer of 68. That was a very violent time in our nations history.

What about the millions who died or were injured in Iraq for "freedom"?

The middle class was never more powerful than they were in 1968. The conservatives hated it. Just like they hate the Occupy Wallstreet movement. Back then Unions had a lot more power too.

But that was socialism back then, right? :cuckoo:

There are no classes in America. Conservatives did hate you lefties being violent and killing people. Most decent citizens don't appreciate revolutionaries trying to overthrow their liberty.

If you think you will get away with encouraging death and violence, you're wrong.

Back to subject#1,on this page,if the shit hits the fan.
we have oil supply for any situation.

ill take lots of flack for this, but its true. Obama is a communist.
No he isn't.
At least BILL CLINTON was a moderate democrat.
Really? Universal health care is moderate? Or I guess you're only counting the things he got passed - not the things he wanted to get passed?

I love how an individual responsibility mandate is "communism" but an employer mandate is something "far better".

Hey you didn't mention the minimum wage, either. Clinton raised that. Remember how unemployment surged, exactly in accordance with right wing economic theory?

Every president in my lifetime was a better president than obama.

Each and every one of them made some effort to unite our country while obama appears to do everything in his power to divide the people of this country.

All the others, president clinton included, was capable of compromise for the good of the country. Obama doesn't posess the skillset to do so and it just makes him appear arrogant.

Even president garfield was a better president than obama.

You are clearly a dumbass authoritarian who has no tolerence for the freedom to express a differing opinion.

The Bush administration was begged to take Al Qaeda seriously. They did nothing.

Richard Clarke was hired by Reagan to work on terrorism. He worked for every subsequent president including Clinton and Bush 43. When Bush came into office, Clarke begged his administration to take the al qaeda threat seriously.

Early warnings about Al-Qaeda threat - ignored
Clarke and his communications with the Bush administration regarding bin Laden and associated terrorist plots targeting the United States were mentioned frequently in Condoleezza Rice's public interview by the 9/11 investigatory commission on April 8, 2004. Of particular significance was a memo[8] from January 25, 2001, that Clarke had authored and sent to Rice. Along with making an urgent request for a meeting of the National Security Council's Principals Committee to discuss the growing al-Qaeda threat in the greater Middle East, the memo also suggests strategies for combating al-Qaeda that might be adopted by the new Bush administration.[9]

In his memoir, "Against All Enemies", Clarke wrote that when he first briefed Rice on Al-Qaeda, in a January 2001 meeting, "her facial expression gave me the impression she had never heard the term before." He also stated that Rice made a decision that the position of National Coordinator for Counterterrorism should be downgraded. By demoting the office, the Administration sent a signal through the national security bureaucracy about the salience they assigned to terrorism. No longer would Clarke's memos go to the President; instead they had to pass though a chain of command of National Security Advisor Rice and her deputy Stephen Hadley, who bounced every one of them back.

Within a week of the inauguration, I wrote to Rice and Hadley asking 'urgently' for a Principals, or Cabinet-level, meeting to review the imminent Al-Qaeda threat. Rice told me that the Principals Committee, which had been the first venue for terrorism policy discussions in the Clinton administration, would not address the issue until it had been 'framed' by the Deputies.

At the first Deputies Committee meeting on Terrorism held in April 2001, Clarke strongly suggested that the U.S. put pressure on both the Taliban and Al-Qaeda by arming the Northern Alliance and other groups in Afghanistan. Simultaneously, that they target bin Laden and his leadership by reinitiating flights of the MQ-1 Predators. To which BUSH Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz responded, "Well, I just don't understand why we are beginning by talking about this one man bin Laden." Clarke replied that he was talking about bin Laden and his network because it posed "an immediate and serious threat to the United States." According to Clarke, Wolfowitz turned to him and said, "You give bin Laden too much credit. He could not do all these things like the 1993 attack on New York, not without a state sponsor. Just because FBI and CIA have failed to find the linkages does not mean they don't exist."[10]

Clarke wrote in Against All Enemies that in the summer of 2001, the intelligence community was convinced of an imminent attack by al Qaeda, but could not get the attention of the highest levels of the Bush administration.

At a July 5, 2001, White House gathering of the FAA, the Coast Guard, the FBI, Secret Service and INS, Clarke stated that "something really spectacular is going to happen here, and it's going to happen soon." Donald Kerrick, a three-star general who was a deputy National Security Advisor in the late Clinton administration and stayed on into the Bush administration, wrote Hadley a classified two-page memo stating that the NSA needed to "pay attention to Al-Qaida and counterterrorism" and that the U.S. would be "struck again."

Turn off FOX News.

The intelligence community was blinking red, and Bush ignored it. He was given a memo in August 2001 stating that Bin Laden was determined to attack. He ignored it. He was asked to put planes on high alert and beef-up airport security. He ignored it.

He did the same thing with the housing bubble. He was begged to raise rates and tighten lending restrictions, and repeal his "Ownership Society", which was designed to put minorities in homes. He did nothing. Bush called for a stand down on Al Qaeda and the housing bubble. He destroyed this country.

Clinton really was a much better president than obama. He didn't hate America like obama does. Hillary is leaving politics at the end of obama's term. She will not appear with him, speak on his behalf, she will not attend the democratic convention. She is done. How much good Bill Clinton will do will have to be seen. It has never been much of a secret that Bill Clinton despises obama and only made as nice as he did for Hillary.

That's not fair.

George HW Bush, for whatever you think of him, did a good job with the economy. And he raised taxes..which was good for the country..but bad politically.

He was a decent President.

Well, you will have a chance to vote for a Clinton again in 2016. :)

If Hillary really wanted the best shot, she'd hope for Obama to lose rather than try to run after the bigger mess we'd been in by then under a Dem admin.

Is it too late for Hilary to run? I'd take her over Obama and Romney any day.

Hindsight being 20/20 I would tend to agree after his mid term disaster Clinton understood he had to move to the center and by doing that and working with Gingrich and the Republican congress they did some good. From the moment he was elected Obama showed no interest in moving to the center and even the 2010 midterms could not get him there.
