God and America

Pulling scripture out of context contaminates the intent of the author.

I don’t see those statements as being pulled out of context. They are clear and complete statements in their own right. There were also between and among other similar statements.

It is all faith based, you don't have the necessary wherewithall, therefore you are wrong, and doomed.:tongue1: Isn't it ironic? don't you think?

Then you admit defeat in what you foresaw as a theological debate?Very wise dmp, though you do diminish in my estimation.Whatever happened to the courage of your convictions?

He didnt admit defeat. His statement was a general statement. SOMEONE ELSE said it was taken out of context. DMP merely pointed out that ANYTIME, ANYONE, takes ANY AUTHORS words out of context, it contaminates it. YOU were the one who tried to change the point of his post.

That you. I enjoy data for its own sake even if
some other people get all wadded up about it.

The following stats contradict the prevelant belief
the US public's attitude toward foreign policy is religiously driven:
19% believe God favors the US in international politics
10% said religion shapes their views of the Iraq war.
We may be able to use this to rebut those who claim
we are a nation of religious fanatics.
