“Go to hell, Senator, it’s time for you to take your final dirt nap”

"Have you no sense of decency, sir, at long last? Have you no sense of decency?" Joseph Nye Welch, the Army's chief counsel

There is a reason McCarthyism has become a synonym for false and ridiculous accusations.

Yes there is: because the media and academia are overrun with communists. Joseph Welch was a demagogue who was objecting to the fact that McCarthy correctly pointed out that a lawyer in Welch's employ belonged to the National Lawyers Guild, a communist front organization. Welch couldn't accuse McCarthy of lying, so he resorted to the lame "have you no decency" defense. Apparently, stating the simple truth isn't "decent" according to apologists for communism.

It is so interesting that the right today is so much like the right in the past. McCarthyism lives on in the hearts of the narrow minded and those who need a scapegoat in order to feel justified or superior. Insecure people are scary, McCarthy was a drunken paranoid, what's Bachmann's excuse?

Your post is a caricature of the kind of rhetoric libturds typically engage in.

How could anyone defend this crazy beast?

Stay classy tea party, amazing most of them think they have broad support.

They don't need broad support. They only need be able to garner a majority in the house races...to the extent they can send enough people to jam up our federal leviathan.

The better picture of MB has a big corn-dog, going in and out of her mouth. Just sayin' . . .

I believe USMB rules may prohibit the posting, of attractive Michelle, putting her stupid gob, to good use, last year. But where has she been with that yapper, since?

Learn how to use a comma, you stupid turd.

Jesus...four years ago he was their party's nominee for the highest office in the land. Oh well. Have fun decimating the Republican Party, Teabaggers!

And he lost you fool. Because he was the Candidate not of the Tea Party, but of the Media. He was the Candidate the left wanted to run against, and the Idiots in the GOP let it happen.

AZ has a lot of very good politicians.

It has some whackjobs, which in part have been driven to the front by stupid federal policies like immigration.

If you don't live there, you don't read about the daily issues associated with drug gangs and the flow of illegals.

You also don't know how health care access has been curtailed because many hospitals have closed emergency rooms to keep from going out of business.

This guy is a nut.

Lakhota is an asshole.

Like any good left wing asshole, he seeks to highlite the whackjobs on the right while keeping the whackjobs on the left out of the limelight (or making real lame assed excuses for them).

This guy said something he should not have. If he really feels that way, he's crazy.

I might also add that the Tea Party in AZ is not, and has never been, fond of John McCain. This isn't something that just flared up. They've been gunning for him for a long long time. In addition, they have wanted a fight with the establishment GOP for a long time too.

You guys could solve your own PR problems by either not putting these RW whack jobs in office or in positions of authority in the Tea Party in the first place or replacing them once they start saying these kinds of things. Don't lay it on USMB members like Lakhota just for drawing attention to these people. It ain't his fault they seem to feel emboldened to say this kind of stuff. If anything, Lakhota is doing everyone here a favor by pointing these people out. Now it's up to the people of Arizona. Let's see what they do. If Wes Harris retains his leadership role because his group refuses to do anything about it, then I guess that means that they don't have a problem with what he said. Again, it ain't Lakhota's fault.

You are correct. PR has to be managed in order to not coming across looking like this guy does.

But my comments about Lakhota stand. She is constantly looking into the corners in an effort to find the most extreme examples and then use them to try and paint broad generalizations.

Additionally, she does not debate or make arguments....she just posts links or drops little one line turds.

Russel Pearce was quite an extreme right winger who was recalled when people got tired of his immigration yacking. What is funny is that the guy who defeated him, Jerry Lewis, was called a moderate. Lewis is anything but moderate....he just knows how to keep his mouth shut and knows how to work with people. A great example of what the Tea Party could utilize.

As for the Tea Party person who made these comments. You don't know what else he has done. He might be very good on several other issues. You don't pull him for just one screw up. You'd need more information to know that.

It also might be that this is just a hyperbolic attack on MacCain who, as previously stated, has never been a darling of the Tea Party. Nor is the establishment GOP, which they've been itching to take on for quite some time.

Conspiracy theories about Secretary of State Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin being linked to the Muslim Brotherhood publicly dribbled down to the lower echelons of conservative politics this week, with an Arizona Tea Party leader promising to launch a recall effort against Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) for his defense of Abedin.

More: Wes Harris, Arizona Tea Party Leader, Seeks To Recall John McCain Over Huma Abedin Defense

Does it bother you that michelle bachman is doing her job to protect and defend the Constitution, and our security?.

No, it bothers me that someone so objectively and undoubtedly stupid is able to trick people like you.

Two HUGE problems here.... the article is bullshit for starters.

As a sitting member of the House Select Committee on Intelligence, Michele Bachmann has an obligation to ask the questions she is asking.

Huma Abedin DOES have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood... that can not be denied!

From her letter:

“The Departments Deputy, Chief of Staff, Huma Abedin, has three family members – her late father, her mother and her brother – connected to Muslim Brotherhood operatives and /or organizations"

She sent the letter to the Deputy Inspector General and McCain made it public...

Bauchman along with five Republican members of the House of Representatives want it to be looked into... that is their job!!!

As for the threat to launch a recall effort against McCain.... good, he sucks!!!

Bauchman is upholding her oath of office :clap2:
