thats alot of jobs and taxes paid.

Im glad we didnt listen to the idiots that wanted it to die

That stimulus money to open a plant in China was certainly well spent! I'm sure the Chinese really appreciate it.

How financially illiterate do you have to be to not know the difference between bankruptcy and liquidation?

All propped up up by the US taxpayer. When GM management cuts every recorded taxpaying citizen of the United States a ten or fifteen thousand dollar, or whatever monetary amount it calculates out to, check indicating repayment of principal and a share of the profits, I'll concede your point. Until that point, it will be just Obama and his Chicago 'paisans' laughing all the way to their banks at the taxpayers expense. Til then, pray earnestly this coming Sunday, and every coming Sunday, that Richard Trumka chokes to death on his kielbasa.

Thanks to George Bush.

From wiki;

"In December 2008, U.S. President George W. Bush agreed to a $17.4 billion bailout for General Motors and Chrysler. The financing came from the $700 billion fund known as the TARP.[4] General Motors emerged from a Chapter 11 reorganization in 2009, with an initial public offering that was one of the world`s top 5 largest IPOs to date."

From the article TM could not read:

"GM is a vastly different company than it was back then. It’s smaller, has less debt and its contract with the United Auto Workers is less costly..."

Very true.

It was at the point that Bush became a kensyen, remember hearing "Were all Kensyans now"?

It was the right thing to do.

Obama followed through with the plan and now the right LIES about it daily

thanks for reminding me about cash for clunkers and the perfectly good cars that were destroyed by socialism. and the generational family car dealerships that were closed by the government because the owners were republicans, including the only chrysler dealership in detroit.

and the coal powered volt is doing so well. and those 100,000 $$ electric sports cars from scandanavia, should be one soon in every garage on the south side of alinsky chicago.

cash for clunkers was done so the steel could be sent to China. They no longer wanted dollars.

No lie that the investors got hosed.

No lie that GM went bankrupt even with billions in taxpayer dollars. Should have saved our money.

No lie that GM payed part of that loan back with other TARP, taxpayer, money.

No lie that it was all payback to the Unons for their massive donations to Barry Boy.

Nope. No lie at all.

Im still see no one giving cold hard proof of what they claim
