That said, a lot of that toxic shit has a great amount of useful utility, when used properly and safely.

FINDING traces of it doesn't mean it's a health hazard. And I've looked at reports on the level in cereal, eggs, etc that you are talking about and they are WAAAAY below any human danger level...

Funny thing.. There's no such thing as "pure water" or "pure air" outside a laboratory.. Min safe levels are established even for ARSENIC other nasty things. We don't ATTEMPT to sterilize the environment, we study it and learn to live safely in it..

And glyphosates have a very short lifetime once applied.. If done by the directions, there should not be a panic about the trace amounts that some evil folks are trying to SCARE people with...

Carson was already dead from breast cancer when glyphosate was independently discovered at Monsanto in 1970. The original Swiss discovery was kept in the closet from 1950. Carson was, however, very much onto the cancer-causing herbicides, especially during the 1959 Cranberry Scandal.
