As another wave of global warming threatens the capitol, shutting it down, I ponder the question...

If global warming can cause this much snow, and can shut down the government this effectively, what can we do to increase its effects through to next winter?

Given my circumstances and finances, I can't do much to make more global warming like that. But if I could, I would drive a hummer 12 hours a day to contribute.

Actually, the shut down was more due to DC local government ineptitude than the snow., Most large cities are able to get things moving in short order. And when the can't, even in Chicago, the mayor gets replaced. 25% of the snow removal equipment was inoperative. It wasn't the flakes from the sky that messed up DC, but he flakes in city government

lol! My prediction is that the Global Cooling Doomsday Cult will be revived just as soon as the Global Warming cult loons are proven to be completely full of chit. Doomsday scenarios are in fashion these days. It seems that much of the world really is obsessed with the end of days. It's a weird phenomenon. There will always be chicken littles running around trying to scare people. People like to be scared. It's human nature i guess. I try not to live in fear and i advise others to do the same. Fining and possibly imprisoning citizens for not throwing garbage in the right bin? No thanks,i'll pass. Great Britain is now actually creating a Global Warming Gestapo which will spy on their citizens and make sure they're following the proper Global Warming protocols. Violators will be fined and possibly imprisoned. Everyone is for less pollution but once the Global Warming fanatics starting pushing for more Government oppression,that's when they lost me.
