"Global Warming": It's About Freedom In The End...

Personally,i feel the Global Warming zealots lost me when they began demanding that the Worlds' Governments begin cracking down on the People. I mean Great Britain is now actually creating a Global Warming Gestapo for God's sake. This Gestapo will spy on their citizens to make sure they are properly following "Global Warming Protocols." Violators will be fined and possibly imprisoned. Fining and possibly imprisoning citizens for not throwing garbage in the "proper" bin? Yikes! No thanks,i'll have to pass.

I think most common sense thinking people are all for curbing pollution but what the Global Warming zealots are proposing is just wrong. I really do feel it's all about Freedom in the end. I just value Freedom & Liberty much more than i fear "Global Warming." I think more & more people are beginning to agree with me on that. More Government oppression is not the answer. The Global Warming zealots simply over-played their hand.

I really do think that all people need to ask themselves an important question...Do i value Freedom & Liberty more than i fear Global Warming? Do we really want Global Warming Gestapos here in our country? Something to ponder i guess.

It seems to be a means of rationalizing government involvement in industry. If people think that industry is polluting the earth to point where everyone could die as a result, then they'll be more willing to sign off on having stringent protocols on pollution and CO2 which in turn take away some luxuries we're used to. Is it not enough to continue with the tax credits for people who by fuel/energy efficient cars and large appliances?

Also, i find it very hard to believe that we humans have the power to cause such a thing. For one, only about 25% of the earth surface is land, and a fraction of that land has anything on it that generates CO2. Our atmosphere is miles thick, so it's just hard to believe that anything we're doing has the capacity to cause much of a change, if any.

We are not all going to suddenly die from too much co2. It just ain't gonna happen. In fact more co2 in the atmosphere actually has some benefits. Unfortunately,the Leftists/Socialists have turned this issue into a religious cult & political movement. Their Science is incredibly flawed. I always come down on the side of more Freedom & Liberty for the People and not less. Just how i feel anyway.

Well, you hear things like the atmosphere is going to be too hot, which will in turn melt the polar ice caps too much which will kill the wild life up there which will cause the seas to rise and envelop the millions of people living on the world's many coastlines (never mind the physics of displacement). If you had enough CO2 then it could happen. Venus is basically the extreme example of that. I'm no scientist, but i've got to believe that there would be no way of getting anywhere near that point due to anything we can do artificially, via machines or just the sheer volumes of animals on earth.

What's ironic is that if the polar bears die out (as we're often threatened with) as a result of global warming, then those animals won't be here to emit CO2. So, another way of curbing CO2 emissions: kill animals.

The reality is that the Earth has and always will go through changes regardless of whether humans are on it or not. Thinking we could do anything to significantly add or detract from them at this point is either naive or arrogant, in my opinion.

Polar Bears die from being hunted,not from Global Warming. The zealots point to polar bears drowning as evidence of Global Warming when in reality polar bears have always drowned. They didn't just start drowning. There is absolutely no credible scientific evidence that proves Global Warming is killing polar bears. This is a fantasy dreamt up by the zealots. There is still legal hunting of polar bears in some parts of the world and that is the only man-made killing of polar bears going on. End all hunting of polar bears and their numbers will surely grow.
