    Since Democracy implies freedom to choose what kind of government you have I would maintain that even if Iraq's new government does not mimic our own the fact that they had a choice, and say, is STILL freedom.

    How could it be an "incredible failure of logic and imagination" when we know that the Iraqis were not a happy people under the dictatorship of Saddam and we know that the gamble to turn the country around to become a more democratic type of government would be a key to the collapse of other similar dictatorships in the Middle East that spawn terrorism?
