Let me ask you this Bfgrn....

Can you tell me where Glenn was wrong? Union bosses AND POLITICIANS dont care about anything but themselves.
Did the math at the beginning of his monologue work to you?

Obama goes and says he wants to thank the AFL-CIO for fighting for jobs, tax cuts for the middle class to fight for reforms that will reign in the special interests ...... meanwhile he is standing in fron of a AFL-CIO billboard..... SPECIAL INTERESTS!!!!!

Nothing seems to be real with this so-called President and his administration, and the complicant media go right along with them. It is all a big scam.

IT DOES FEEL LIKE WE ARE IN THE PLANET OF THE APES! (Everything is upside down and inside out with these people)

Atleast this Bfgrn guy didn't go as far as to link Beck's comment to the white supremacist stormfront's "Surviving the planet of the apes survival guide" like some people on other forums have been doing.

MIchelle Obama, bleh.

She really isn't a good looking woman. She's like the black female Popeye with those buff arms she has.

no shit! It's because that's not what conservatives want. thank you for agreeing with me.
i dont see how wanting "limited government" can lead one to believe they want "aristocracy"

i know right? Can't get much more retarded than that.

Limited government? An aristocracy would love "limited government" with no restraints, sanctions or regulations of their economic or social activities. And you pea brains always do your Monica Lewinsky act on the rich...'oh lordy, lordy, we can't raise their taxes by 3% annually, they will be mad at us and then they will hurt us'

WTF do you think 'trickle down' economics is? Don't you 'Christians' ever read the Bible? Luke 16:19-31: Lazarus and the rich man. Jesus knew about trickle down economics: crumbs…

President Kennedy's adviser and ambassador to India, economist John Kenneth Galbraith noted that "trickle-down economics" had been tried before in the United States in the 1890s under the name "horse and sparrow theory". He wrote, "Mr. David Stockman has said that supply-side economics was merely a cover for the trickle-down approach to economic policy—what an older and less elegant generation called the horse-and-sparrow theory: 'If you feed the horse enough oats, some will pass through to the road for the sparrows.'" Galbraith claimed that the horse and sparrow theory was partly to blame for the Panic of 1896. During this period, in his Cross of Gold speech, Democrat William Jennings Bryan said:

'There are those who believe that, if you will only legislate to make the well-to-do prosperous, their prosperity will leak through on those below. The Democratic idea, however, has been that if you legislate to make the masses prosperous, their prosperity will find its way up through every class which rests up on them.'

Aristocracy

–noun, plural
1. a class of persons holding exceptional rank and privileges, esp. the hereditary nobility.

2. a government or state ruled by an aristocracy, elite, or privileged upper class.

3. government by those considered to be the best or most able people in the state.

4. a governing body composed of those considered to be the best or most able people in the state.

5. any class or group considered to be superior, as through education, ability, wealth, or social prestige.

still waiting for you to show me which conservative said they want aristocracy.

Oh, I forgot you are a 'word bound' pea brain...so 'upper class' doesn't qualify?

'Now, his advisers, they say, ‘Well Mr. President, the upper class, they're the entrepreneurs.'

Let me ask you this, WHAT did Grover Norquist mean when he said: "We're going to crush labor as a political entity"

Don't know, why don't you ask him.

The American labor movement and unions' SPECIAL interest is We, the People; the average working guy and gal. The American labor movement and unions have done MORE for ALL working men and women, union and non union, in this country then ALL the Republicans that ever lived.

Which is why the labor unions have been steadily loosing membership for years, and why they are now working to force people to join them and pay dues through force of law.

Glenn Beck is a sham. This is the guy who who has such disregard and lack of respect for his viewers that he sets them up to be ripped off on fools gold at 90% - 208% above the MELT value.

Then why are you posting links to his videos? Most intelligent people generally ignore people who they think are a sham and a fool.

You're killing me. im drowning in my tears of laughter.

Here is a short list of recent achievements of the American labor movement...

The U.S. Labor Movement and Its Achievements (Sep. 04, 2001)

Labor Day is the time of year when the nation honors the working people who have built this country and made it prosperous. It is also a time to remember the achievements of the organized labor movement in United States history. As is often noted every September, many of the basic rights and benefits that are sometimes taken for granted were not kindly handed to workers by employers. It took the hard work and dedication of thousands of union men and women who struggled bravely to win these rights.

The labor movement in the United States led the struggles to:

* End child labor
* Establish the legal right of workers to form unions and collectively bargain for wages, benefits and working conditions
* Establish the 8 hour work day and paid overtime
* Win workers' comp benefits for workers injured on the job
* Secure unemployment insurance for workers who lose their jobs
* Secure a guaranteed minimum wage
* Improve workplace safety and reduce on the job fatalities
* Win pensions for workers
* Win health care insurance for workers
* Win paid sick leave, vacations, and holidays as standard benefits for most workers
* Win the right for public sector workers to collectively bargain
* Win passage of the Civil Right Acts and Title VII which outlaws job discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex or national origin
* Win passage of the Occupational Safety and Health Act
* Win passage of the Family Medical Leave Act

Would you like me to list all the causes that the labor movement opposed?

Never mind, I will just point out their organized and prolific opposition to the civil rights act and the integration of any workplace in the 50s and 60s, that should be enough to prove to anyone but you that they are not worth supporting. You, being a hypocrite, will continue to support them.

That certainly does sound like the attitude of the Left and Obama, they think I am not capable of making any decisions of my own. Glad you finally recognized the danger.

Can you post proof that labor unions opposed the civil rights act?

Most intelligent people don't chop up other peoples posts. They quote the poster, then add their own comments.

The labor unions have been losing membership for years because of 2 major factors...the lose of manufacturing, as corporate cartels ship jobs to 3rd world countries, and a concerted effort by corporations, the Chamber of Commerce and Republicans to BUST unions.

That is why America has become an aristocracy/oligarchy.

Ronbo Reagan, the great socialist/wealth distributor was the pied piper on the road to serfdom

Rising Income Inequality in the US: Divisive, Depressing, and Dangerous

The gap between what the top 10 per cent of Americans earns per year and what the rest of us gets has been widening sharply for the last 30 years. The nation’s economic development has thus been increasingly divisive. The work of Professor Emmanuel Saez of the University of California at Berkeley, a leading expert, shows the facts all too clearly. His summary figure below comes from his website: Emmanuel Saez's Home Page. There you can see how the top 10 per cent of income earners in the US took home an ever more outsized share of the total national income starting at the end of the 1970s. The top 10 percent took 30-35 per cent of total national income from the early 1940s to the early 1980s. Then their share rose to its current 45-50 per cent level.

You call yourself a classic liberal. I call you a right wing pea brain...

Someone hit it on the head on the radio...Beck realized his ratings were slipping and now he will go further and further down the shock rabbit hole to get all of us talking about him again.

Beck is a clown, but the problem is, he actaully has people who agree with the tripe he throws out to get ratings. THAT IS SCARY TO ME.

I don't disagree that he's a clown.

But I'm not frightened by clowns, or their fans.

CrusaderFrank Compares Obama to "The Godfather"!!

Saul Alinsky as Don Vito

Barack as Michael (remember, "The Godfather" chronicles Michael's rise to take over the family, The Godfather II is Vito's story)

Frank Mashall Davis as Clemenza

Biden as Freddo (was there a doubt?)

Biden: I'm smart! Not like everyone says like dumb (Biden if everyone says it they might have a point, no?) I'm smart and I want respect!

Hey kids, get in all your 'intellectual' comic book stuff...the street light will be on soon, that means your mommy will be tucking you in for the night...:lol::lol:

still waiting for you to show me which conservative said they want aristocracy.

Remember when Bush called an audience of the rich 'my people,' that was a big slip but hardly noted in the corporate media of today. It is what you do that creates an aristocracy or oligarchy, not what you say or say only in private. If your moral compass goes towards corporations, oligarchy works better. Ken Lay friends. Barbara Bush messed up with her comments on Katrina as well. The acorn doesn't fall far from the tree.

Conservatism has as a central tenet hierarchy so obviously aristocracy fits or don't you even understand your own ideological frame? Lots of proof below but obviously it will not fit the frame that filters the world for you. PS I post them for others.
