Hi,
This is my first post and I have a question for you folks on this board. I watched Glen Beck for the first time today and he had a show about what things might look like in the year 2014. It was almost scary! I turned to something else. I watch the news channels and try to keep an open mind about everything that's going on but should I believe this stuff? I'm young and haven't kept up with politics till this year but I just wanted some input from some of you on this board.

Beck is one of those guys that likes to use a lot of "ifs" in his dialog....and for all of his ifs to really happen would be highly unusual....its like ..."if everything goes wrong, heres what will happen".....

You know whats really funny about that idiots. Those idiots actually made it having no clue what Glenn was talking about when all you have to do is watch everything in context and listen rather than splicing pieces together and its very obvious. They are laughing about being stupid. Its amazing.

BTW there was nothing creepy about being a man and expecting someone to look into your eyes and be honest with you. I understand you dont like looking at people cause then they would know you are lying though your teeth. But seriously, it be nice if people were just honest about what they say and think.

Not a fair Question as Standard was almost the only oil company that was delivering. You and I will only know what a biase book will tell you. Ask something more recent and maybe it would be fair.

I hope you realize that after it broke up Standard Oil of New Jersey (which was actually a political attack by Texans who wanted to get in on the Black Gold), the Government reassembled the oil giant because it was impossible at that time for multiple little oil companies to exploit the larger and more complex reserves that were needed to wage a modern war being planned in the 1930s.

So ... your point is full of "it".

There's no doubt that Keith Olbermann is a liberal, and he knows he will be called on it because of it, which is why he consistently backs up what he says with videos and quoted material.

But just so you don't have to wrack your brain trying to remember "those other channels," all of them are deemed liberal by the Cons, except Fox. Now wasn't that easy?

You'll need to explain to us non-fauxwatchers what he was predicting.

Glenn Beck, away from the political arena, is a very funny guy. His CNN (HNN) program was rather interesting because he was mild-mannered and fair (just as CNN attempts to be all the time). Now that he's got such a wild and crazy audience at Fox, he's certainly taken full advantage of it. Beck is hardly the same person, which does make one wonder about his, er, stability?

Was refering to the names of the anchors not the channels, channels lets see wasn't there one named mccm,na, msbe, na cbzs,na oh yea acb right thats it oh yea c,c,c uh csomething. Ah just like most people just can't remember these old stations and there has been anchors.

just listen and then do what he says. That is-don't take his word for it but check what he says out yourself before making a decision.

he has already outed most of the marxists, communists, socialists, in the obama administration including the president himself.and he has done it with videos of them professing to be just that in their own words. He has pointed out how congress is no longer relevant in america because he has turned everything over to his 42 czars that congress didn't have to approve.

as long as he keeps telling me to check it out for myself to make sure he is right I have no problem listening to him.

it's people like gore who says the debate is over(when he didn't allow one) and you must take his word for things------------those idiots can't be trusted.

I agree with gettingold, completely. Beck is very informative and well researched. He will admit if an error is brought to his attention. His intentions are honorable and he loves his country and it's history. Obama hates him, Hannity and Rush. That alone should tell you something, as they do out this administration. I love to listen to Dr. Charles Krauthammar on Special Report, PT. The last 20 minutes of that show, and then once a week on O`Reilly. I also love to hear Stuart Varney and Neil Cavuto. I am a Conservative with strong Libertarian leanings and I welcome you to USMB.
