Encouraging illegals to come here violates USC 1324 and granting amnesty certainly encourages more illegals to invade. And the penalties for such encouragement can be execution!

First, no one is proposing amnesty. Amnesty would mean zero consequences. Fines and back taxes and the other conditions to normalize status is not amnesty.

Second, the majority of people here illegally entered the country legally but failed to return when they were supposed to. So none of those fit in to your claim.

Third, even for those entering illegally, you would have to prove that the main effect of the laws normalizing illegal status in fact encourages illegal immigration, AND you'd have to prove who specifically is liable.

Yes indeed. It's a dereliction of constitutional duty when the president says he won't enforce the laws against illegals. Repubs should demand his impeachment over this.
