Nope. There is no reason to think when you have hired security, have an armed deputy sheriff on the grounds AND have no unlocked doors except the one into the office, that you have not done enough. But we did take measures to tighten security, make it very difficult for terrorists to get planes filled with jet fuel. Not perfect, but made an effort. And we didn't let the travel lobby dictate what restrictions were reasonable.

So take measures to tighten security in schools. but that isn't what you are implying we do is it now?

We continuallt try and make cars safer and drivers must use in safe ways { no drinking and driving, no cell phone and driving etc.} Anyone who truely needs a car and is qualified to use it can get one.
It should be the same for guns.
