You are absolutely correct. While a Trump dictatorship would be better in the short term, rational people would eschew a dictatorship because Trump can't live forever.

Besides, given that we recently HAD a Democratic President and Congress that was rejected by We the People, the hypothetical Democratic President and Congress would be gone by the next election.

Maybe hypocrite lefties who enjoy a thriving economy and a 401k that is making money and a good job and retirement benefits would consider that life under a stagnant Hussein economy and a hundred executive orders expanding federal authority as well as an IRS that punished political enemies to be more like a 3rd world dictatorship than the freedom of the Trump administration.
