Give 'em hell, Bernie!

his being a socialist doesn't make him wrong about this.

You're right.
His being wrong makes him wrong about it.
Bernie Sanders never met a social program he was opposed to. Thus he has no credibility in talking about deficits. His only regret is that they aren't bigger, provoking higher taxes.
Americans have rejected his brand of whiny New York Jewish class warfare. I hope the people of VT will reject him.

Well, he's won every election he's had for the last 30 years with a health 65% or more of the vote.

So keep the faith. Clearly you know better what's better for Vermont than Vermonters do.

The list of 30 year Democratic vote winners who have either not run or been defeated is very long.

Yeah...Avowed socialists are just chock-full of that ole "truth" thingy.

When you can logically or factually fault ONE thing Sen. Sanders has said, let me know.

Until then, all your Party of NO sour grapes and smokescreen is just a waste of time.
He's a socialist...So when he's right it's by accident or for all the wrong reasons.

Sort of like when Ed Shultz polls HIS audience during his show and at the end he shows the results...What a shock it's always 80% + or better agreeing with his point of view.

What a shock,it's his audience and they agree with him....and he's so proud of himself....:eusa_shhh:

I'm not sure how this is relevant to my response to the Rabbi's statement "I hope the people of VT will reject him".

They're not going to.

As long as there is a San Francisco......he wouldn't be rejected in Ca. either.....but it sure ain't sayin' much.

That's right Rabbi!

As I said, KEEP THE FAITH. Vermonters will surely come to their senses...

And, as has been noted many times in this thread, Bernie Sanders is NOT a Democrat.

Ever wonder what a "Bernie" government would look like in the US? I would like to see all the accolade's from the left. From looking at this board.....I think there would be quite a few.

I like Bernie Sanders a whole lot. He's one of my favorite politicians.

I would NEVER vote for him for any other office than the one he has now. He's a fringer, and has his place exactly where he is. Just like Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich.

He's wrong about soaking the piss out of the wealthy so's he can vote for bullshit bills to piss it away. How's that? Thought so.

How's what? All you've done is just spew some moronic rhetoric that has NO specifics.

Let me clarify a crucial point for you: The Bush tax cuts essentially keep a few BILLION dollars out of the nation's coffers....over a ten year period that could go a LONG way to pay off the bogus invasion of Iraq, as well as the damage caused by a non-oversight Wall St. and banker mortgage/investments, and bring down the deficit. Also, the wealthy folk WILL STILL BE WEALTHY WITHOUT THE BUSH TAX CUTS.

Nearly a decade with the Bush tax cuts and the results: The Shrub has the worst job creation record to date for a President.

Sanders is on the money, and you'll just have to turn off Hannity, put down the Washington Times, stop scrolling the World Net Daily and deal with reality.

Your making a LOT of accusations, but you AVOID the FACTS as to what Sanders is addressing:

We had the Bush Tax cuts for his 2 terms in office. The results were that the Shrub has the WORST job creation rate going....but the number of millionaires sure as hell has increased on his watch.

So while you're patting yourself on the back for your bit of anti-semetic tinged slander here, you might want to grow a pair and honestly deal with the subject at hand....if you can.

Not really...because Sanders is an ELECTED official, an INDEPENDENT. Big difference from a talk show host running their own polls.

Now that being said, what is Sanders saying that is wrong, and why?

Let me clarify a crucial point for you.

You won't get a better deal in the next Congress.

You based that on the assumption that the next series of elections will go a certain way. As history has shown, the projections don't always pan out.

Ever wonder what a "Bernie" government would look like in the US? I would like to see all the accolade's from the left. From looking at this board.....I think there would be quite a few.

There seems to be little interest in discussion of the content of the filibuster, but a lot of attempts to slander the personality of the Senator.

So you just keep making a lot accusations that have NOTHING to do with the content of the filibuster or the context in which it's being given.

In short, you're just incapable of logically or factually discussing the issue, and therefore all you have left is neocon hack cheerleading and slander. Carry on.

Democrats will vote for upper income tax cuts.

If they are bought off with enough with enough additional deficit spending.

I dare say you may be right....which is why Sanders REAL filibuster is so important, because the voters need to know who is selling them out and why.
