The Dims do cave a lot. But no, that was NOT a filibuster. It was a long-winded monologue, but it was not intended to block a vote nor did it significantly affect consideration of any vote.

And it is more than passing odd that it takes a damn socialist to do even that much.

Frankly, I'd be happy if a bunch of GOP Senators would start going that route. But not by such half-hearted measures as a 9 hour "speech." I mean a real old-fashioned filibuster. As I have said before, I am a FAN of gridlock if that's what it takes to shut down the Obama/liberal Democrat Parody agenda.
