Dan Devine won a NC in 3rd season
Lou Holtz won a NC in 3rd season - almost won 2 others - 89, 93 -always in the top 5
Since then - ND has had a succession of klowns- Bob Davie, Ty Willingham, Charlie Weiss, Brian Kelley
8-4 IS NOT ACCEPTABLE
