Give an example of when man's ethics and morality are superior to Gawds

Other Laws and Commands

21 Then God said to Moses, “These are the other laws that you will give to the people:

21:7 “A man might decide to sell his daughter as a slave. If this happens, the rules for making her free are not the same as the rules for making the men slaves free. 8 If the master who chose her for himself is not pleased with her, then he can sell the woman back to her father. If the master broke his promise to marry her, he loses the right to sell her to other people. 9 If the master promised to let the slave woman marry his son, he must treat her like a daughter, not like a slave.

The only thing this is lacking is a map to Cambodia. I don't know how much clearer this verse can be with direction on selling your daughter.
you have an almost atheistic tendency to gloss over important parts of the text.....significantly "the rules of making her free"......are you prepared to admit the "slavery" being discussed may be different from the slavery you want to pretend is being discussed?........did the slavery you want to pretend is being discussed have rules for making the slave free?......

Do you know anyone who might decide to sell their daughter as a slave? What would your advise to them be?

What are the rules for making her free? The scripture above only gives buying and selling direction.
the rules for indenturing servants in Israel was that they were to be freed after six years of service.....my advise to anyone, considering selling their daughter or not, would be to pay no attention to your ignorant comments.....

I hate to keep reminding you of what's in your Bible, but it says the rules for male and female slaves are different.

2 “If you buy a Hebrew slave, then that slave will serve for only six years. After six years, he will be free, and he will have to pay nothing. 3 If he is not married when he becomes your slave, when he becomes free, he will leave without a wife. But if the man is married when he becomes your slave, then he will keep his wife at the time he is made free. 4 If the slave is not married, the master can give him a wife. If that wife gives birth to sons or daughters, she and her children will belong to the master. After the slave is finished with his years of service, he will be made free.

See, right here...

21:7 “A man might decide to sell his daughter as a slave. If this happens, the rules for making her free are not the same as the rules for making the men slaves free.

So, you have no advise to the modern day slave trader? After all, this is your book of superior ethics and morality.

Do you ever actually read this book?

You've been given several of the verses that speak directly to these issues
as has been pointed out, they have all fallen short of the claim that God approves of slavery....obviously this is nothing more than another failed atheist meme.....
You need to actually read your bibles to see that slavery is promoted. Of course, you need to understand that the men who invented christianity and authored the bibles have assigned a great number of administrative duties to your gawds.

You've just fallen short of grade school abilities at reading comprehension.
obviously you are no better at documenting "promoted" than you were at documenting "loathing"......
Actually, it's a pathology among the religiously crippled that prevents them from learning about their religion.

If you weren't so abysmally inept at understating what's contained in the bibles and uninformed about the book you worship, you might actually consider the promotion of slavery clearly delineated by those bibles and reflect on why you are so morally bankrupt as to accept such behavior.

You have no clue what is contained in the various bibles. You have been given several of the bible verses that explicitly Lay out the promotion of slavery yet you blithely proceed on in your stupor of ignorance and denial.

I suppose your Sunday school only teaches you a castrated version of the bibles.

No, that's 6 years unless the master chooses her to marry. As long as there's no promise of marriage, the master can buy and sell these women slaves at their leisure. Sounds like an arrangement we all want for our daughters, right?

In your own words, can you use verses 8-9 to give me some parenting tips for when I'm ready to sell my daughter?

How silly of me...I left out the "money back guarantee" directions. You just need to hang on to your Walmart receipt. Is that the advice you'd like to give modern day slave traders?

What advice would you give to young women, to prevent them from being sold again, at the end of 6 years? Do you have any advise for the slave trader, to make sure he's pleased with his purchase?

I agree....mine is the same as what the Bible is describing.....the one they believe is "promoted" is different.....what the Bible describes Israel as engaging in is what we call indenturing, contracting for six years of labor in exchange for a cash payment....actually, since the Year of Jubilee was a fixed standard, it was labor until the next year of Jubilee, which could have been six to one years away from the date of indenturing......

Even the worst human despot tyrants and sadist eventually kill the victim and stop the torment...not so with God....according to rumors God will keep you in hell for all eternity....no probation no nothing...that immoral

it's your choice, why are you complaining?......I always find it amusing that people say "a God who leaves me in hell for not believing in him is beneath my standards so I am not going to believe in him".......

Well it's not really slavery, it's just cash for 6 years of labor.
took you long enough to admit it......

I'm just practicing to see what it sounds like out loud.
