Giuliani's daughter to serve community service after arrest - CNN.com

(CNN) -- The daughter of former New York mayor and Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani was ordered Tuesday to serve one day of community service for her shoplifting arrest in early August.
Caroline Giuliani was in court for an initial hearing.
The judge adjourned the case in contemplation of dismissal, which means once Giuliani completes the community service and stays out of trouble for six months, the charges against her will be dismissed.
The 20-year-old was charged August 5 with one count of petty larceny after the incident at a Sephora skin care and makeup store, the New York Police Department said.
She is the younger of Giuliani's two children with his ex-wife, Donna Hanover, a television reporter and actress.
Since his public divorce from Hanover and his marriage to Judith Nathan, Giuliani's relationship with his children has been strained, the New York Times reported in March 2007.

That is probably what most people get, it all depends on how much the items were.
