All Trump needed to do to win the debate was control himself and appear presidential. Hillary had the much tougher challenge given she is a reserved, private, "dour" personality - it doesn't that she's a policy wonk, knows the issues, and prepares well - people aren't looking at that. She's a woman. They want to see her laugh, smile, appear "warm". (Not expected of male candidates).

Trump couldn't even been bothered to prepare - if he wins, is this going to be the underlying theme of his presidency? Scary isn't it?

Trump's debate expectations were ridiculously low, the fact that he couldn't even meet that bar is amazing.
