Memo to President Obama: Why don't you visit the Gitmo prison, give the military there a few atta boys, look over the prison facilities, talk to the resident Red Cross people, maybe even speak with a few "terrorists" held there and then decided what needs to be done. If you are happy with the situation just tell the world and your leftest friends that Gitmo remains and they can kiss your grits if they don't like it. If you still think Gitmo prison should be closed take your opinion and facts to Congress and the American people and sell them.

That's what a good executive does, that's what a person does before making important decisions, that's what a leader does, and that's what I would do.

Obama made promises to close that facilities which he's now finding rather hard to keep.

You got that right even his Democratic congress understands that NIMBY is going to kill putting people that need in point of fact to be locked up and the key thrown away in US jails. There aren't enough Federal supermaxes available and the state run supermaxes are already little more than tender boxes waiting for a match and are overcrowded to boot accoring to the supreme courts edict on cruel and unusual punishment in which prisoners must have more room than the average US army recruit in basic training.
