Government run health care already exist, but Obama’s plan will cover more people. The millions that do not have any coverage. The answer is not putting more people into private health care. It would cost too much and would spread it thin.

7 million people lost their jobs and lost their health care coverage and million others cannot afford health coverage, they and their children go without care. That is not acceptable in this nation. Everyone in this country need access to health care and to have them covered, government has to step in.

Government health care is not free and Obama needs to stress that. Everyone pays according to their income. Unlike private health care. No matter if it is private or government run, it will not run smoothly and their will be waits on services needed.
I have Medicare with Medicaid and I can see a doctor same day or in a few day at county run clinic. I can be seen in E.R. anytime I go, but sometime there is a long wait because E.R. is filled with illegal aliens. If is had private health care, I am only allowed limited doctor visits, verifications from my HMO and referrals to see a specialist and the wait may be very long.

We already pay for those who do not have health coverage and end up in E.R. and it cost us more than if they had coverage.

The only problem I have with Obama’s plan is will it coverage the millions of illegal aliens who do not have health care and use E.R. They will still end up in E.R. if they are not included and it will cost us more. He has not addressed this problem and will not unless he is asked and no one will ask him.

Bottom line is, Medicare, Medicaid, Medical, county health and dental clinics, rest homes, veterans hospitals are already run by the government and they run as effectively as if they were privately run. Adding millions has to be done at any cost.
If private health care covered everyone effectively, government coverage would not be needed.
Right wingers are just belly aching because they do not have their grubby fingers in the pot. Let them put their 2 cent in and go ahead and “git her done.”

I have heard stories of Americans who broke their legs in canada or switzerland and yes they were taken care of, free of charge. Will that raise costs? Sure, a little. But we are talking about pooling all Americans together to get the greatest buying power and to spread the risk out to the greatest amount of people, so helping illegals won't cost much.

And we should demand that the hospitals call INS and deport them as soon as they are fixed.

You are going to get the same response from both government entities. We'll fix your health problem when we're damn good and ready. And, we'll pick up those illegals when we're damned good and ready. Have you noticed yet when they're ready to pick up illegals? That's right, the day after never and that's when you'll be getting your government funded MRI.
