Gingrich to end campaign next Tuesday

There's no legit excuse to accept yet another Socialist Lite™ GOP candidate either.

Slouching toward progressive socialist serfdom traveling on the two-lane versus on the interstate doesn't change the destination.

yet pouting does nothing.
I'm not pouting....I just refuse to go along with the soft socialist herd anymore.

You're complaining, but you're not usign the only influence you have to change things a bit.

Don't tell me it's always the same. who do you stand up for more on this board, Obama or Bush? TY

How did we piss on it? Because we wont goose step with you? Gimme a break. I'll be voting in the GE. Just not for Romney or Obama.

Who do you criticize more, Bush or Obama?

They both kind of sucked in their own ways. What does Bush have to do with Mitt?

Point is, if Bush were running against Obama, they wouldn't vote for him. They should admit that.

They think he was a liberal disaster, and I agree, but I'll take him over Obama any day. They spend all their time complaining about Obama, and much less so Bush, but that doesn't matter to them. I think it's :cuckoo:.

This is how I see the Presidential elections proceeding for the next 30 or 40 years. Suppose there are 10 voters each election. 3 voters always vote republican (because they believe the party is always right), 3 other voters always vote democrat (because they believe the party is always right), and the other 4 voters are independent and always vote for the lesser of the "two evils" (because they believe that both parties are wrong but they prefer the least worse candidate for a given election cycle.)

The 4 voters who vote for the "lesser of two evils" prop up the system. If they were to take their 4 votes and give them to a reform candidate then they wouldn't have to vote for the lesser of two evils.

The vote total would be.
4 votes 40% towards reform candidate
3 votes 30% towards democrat
3 votes 30% towards republican

But if one independent voter decides to vote for a "lesser of the two evil candidates" then the reform vote fails, because either the democrat or republican gets majority vote at that point. The 3 remaining voters realize that their votes will be waisted if just one independent votes for either of the two parties, thus all independents vote for the "less of two evils" even though all the independents would prefer a reform party.

Both Republican and Democrat Parties realize that they will never lose duopoly power because independent voters would have to unify perfectly (if one independent votes for either of the two parties the reform is broken). Thus Republican's and Democrat's are never held accountable because they will never be replaced by a third party. Additionally, since both parties are unaccountable, they can honestly accuse each other of wrong doing. Thus perpetuating the "lesser of two evil" voting system.

Nope because he hasnt got a chance of getting elected

Sure he does. If you think Obama is a lock you really do have problems. I'd say his chances are about 50/50 at this point.

Did austerity work in england?

You might be the stupidest person I have ever run into. When has progressive liberalism worked and not killed millions?

The best example of tiny, small, restrained Government outpacing the entire history of societies in the world would be America... The bigger government has gotten the worse shape we get in. Now, bankrupted and only able to sustain our welfare an military state Presidents like Bush and Obama borrow or print trillions every year to keep the illusion that we can afford what we have barely afloat.

Get back to being a slum lord, you have some checks to cash, I mean "work" to do driving your fat ass to the bank to cash the checks.

.

Okay, it's Ron Paul's chance now!

.

I agree, Paul's support will grow even more as people give him attention as the last guy up against Mitt. Want to know how that is possible? Because Paul unlike every other "flavor of the month" candidate has a real base. Paul's entire campaign is not built off a millionaire that donates near all of the funding to the super pacs to keep an otherwise lost campaign going.

As Pauls support grows (and it is by about 3x from 2008) the GOP shrinks.

So please, keep making fun of people for supporting who they like rather than who they are told to like, it seems to be helping us more than you by LOLz amounts.

Does anyone know how much Mitt want's to cut the deficit compared to Obama's spending? Anyone? Anyone care to share??? The answer will of course make you that much more depressed that Mitt is your candidate and also it will insire you to cling to "Anyone but Obama" that much more seeing as "Mitt over Obama" is a hard sell.

Then it's arguable that I have no influence whatsoever.

You want to settle for your pale pastel squish ABO candidate that's your funeral....But that imparts no obligation upon me to bend over and take it in the shorts like you're willing to.
