Gingrich ‘Proposed the Death Penalty for Marijuana’

In the US today, there is no crime punishable by death in which a death did not occur.
....Which AUTOMATICALLY-eliminates Marijuana.

Two ounces is not that much pot......
There is that big government mentality the republicans love. Of course it would do nothing to stop drug smuggling.

I must oppose newt as he wants to kill all the people that smoke pot, which isn't any worst then all the cig smokers or drunks.

Wellllllllllllll....not quite. It applied to drug smugglers not drug users. Big difference. Gingrich wanted to kill drug smugglers....Obama gives them automatic weapons.
Yeah.....THAT'S what was.....

Whew!!!

Talk about Working Within The System....like we were always told, during the late-'60s/early-'70s!!

"The City of Los Angeles won’t be banning marijuana dispensaries any time soon, if the United Food and Commercial Workers union (UFCW) gets its way.

That’s because workers at 14 of the city’s pot shops have all banded together and formed the “medical cannabis and hemp division” of Los Angeles chapter, according to The Associated Press. The UFCW also represents grocery store workers and people in the health care industry.

“It’s a natural fit,” the national UFCW explained on its blog Friday. “[These] workers will join Local 770 members who work in other retail settings, including grocery stores and pharmacies. And they join medical cannabis workers in other parts of California and in states across the country who have already joined UFCW.”

Whitney Houston got the death penalty for drug use and it couldn't have happened to a more deserving person. Judging from the amount of drugs her daughter could suck up, she'll be next.

If we just legalize drugs, the problem will soon take care of itself.

One small problem. Even a union can't force a city to issue a business license. It can force an employer to agree to union demands, but can't force a city to allow a business to open.

Knowing Newt Gingrich, he probably went home and smoked a joint afterward.

If you ever fly into Saudi Arabia, the custom forms you have to fill out on the plane has boldly printed in red "Death to drug dealers." So, Newt isn't the only one with these thoughts.

Not true.this is where i break from fellow GOPers. Dont believe in any welfare, corporate,or personal, and issues such as this.but,i still believe in drug testing for employment, regardless of the lack of physical addiction,it muffles concentration.
"....muffles concentration."

"Prescription drug abuse is the new scourge of rural America. It now leads to more deaths in the United States than heroin and cocaine combined, and rural residents are nearly twice as likely to overdose on pills than people in big cities, according to the Centers for Disease Control.

While methamphetamine addiction has long been associated with small towns, prescription painkillers have overtaken meth as the most abused drugs in places such as southern Indiana, according to local authorities."
