Gingrich: GOP Should Be "Party Of Yes"

We have the numbers that show the Party of No will not win in 2010 unless it changes to a Party of Ideas: 52 to 46%.

Do we have any numbers on how many blacks are completely screwed since Obama? Or any numbers to show the reduction of the middle class, or increase of those in poverty since Obama took office? I would like to put his Presidency in focus, besides all of his massive corruption and arrogance.

I think the number was something like 90%... But hey... In the words of the great Brown American Poet, Chris Rock: "Brown Clowns tend to frown; when their world comes tumblin' down..."

Since Newt thinks the GOP SHOULD be the party of Yes. What are they now?

Oh that's easy, where the question is "Can we fundamentally transform the US by dismissing the US Constitution and the immutable principles on which America was founded..." the GOP is the Party of:

"HELL NO!"
And frankly, we're pretty proud of that.

The problem isn't the reponse, which is what the Left wants to isolate the problem as... the problem is THE QUESTION...

The GOP if FOR returning America to the sound sustainable principle of her origins... requiring people to learn to live within THEIR MEANS... and not the means of 'The Ethereal Rich'.

The GOP is for recognizing the certain, self-evident, unalienable individual rights endowed to them by their Creator; and the individual reponsibilities intrinsic in those rights... Right and Responsibility which rest at the core of American Exceptionalism...

The GOP is for making it emphatically clear, that if you're looking for someone else to subsidize your existence; you're failing to recognize and respect those individual responsibilities; and in the process you forfeit the rights which those responsibilities sustain; and any means to so much as THINK of yourself as an American.

Need anything else?

Do you mean the GOP that gave us the Patriot Act (Since its passage, several legal challenges have been brought against the act, and Federal courts have ruled that a number of provisions are unconstitutional.)

or the GOP that gave us:

WASHINGTON -- President Bush has quietly claimed the authority to disobey more than 750 laws enacted since he took office, asserting that he has the power to set aside any statute passed by Congress when it conflicts with his interpretation of the Constitution.

or this:

On May 5, 2004, Baird found "Terri's Law" unconstitutional, and struck it down.[45] Bush appealed this order to the Second District Court of Appeals, but, on May 12, they issued an "Order Relinquishing Case for Entry of Final Judgment and Order to Show Cause Why this Proceeding Should Not be Certified to the Supreme Court As Requiring Immediate Resolution."[46] The Second District Court of Appeals, in sending it directly to the Florida's Supreme Court, invoked "pass through" jurisdiction.[47]

The Florida Supreme Court then overturned the law as unconstitutional.[48]
.

Seems to me, if you're looking to the GOP to tell you what is or is not constitutional, you need a new source of help. And you guys seem to have really short memories!!

Well it seems to me, that you're just tickled to death to demonstrate your profound ignorance.

The USA Patriot Act was passed by AN ALL BUT:
UNANIMOUS VOTE OF BOTH HOUSES OF THE US FEDERAL LEGISLATURE...

And while the GOP did represent right at half of that vote... it's beyond decietful to project that the GOP foisted it upon the nation.

What's more the USA Patriot Act was a war-time emergency response to a clear and present threat to the lives of innocent Americans; providing the means for US Intelligence and Law Enforcement agencies to cull from our culture, those surreptitiously living among us, who were aligned with those who attacked our civilian population, murdering 3000 innocent people; crippling our civilian air-travel system in an act of WAR!

The USA PATRIOT Act is a POLICY OF WAR... Decidedly NOT an element of 'business as usual' civilian policy... the act provides those who are sworn to defend the US Constitution and to protect the Rights and Lives of Americans, to do so without being encumbered by the civil protections afforded to the legitimate, CIVILIAN POPULATION... TO FERRET OUT USURPERS... who were and remain engaged in MAKING WAR ON AMERICANS.

I've no doubt that there have been challenges to the law... It was a certainty that such was inevitable; and where it can be established that there exist abuses of those laws, where Law Enforcement uses it's just powers provided to pursue those who are actively engaged in making war on the US to build criminal cases against wayward US Citizens, then where such is shown; it is axiomatic to me that any case tainted by such abuses should be stripped from the document without prejudice; the suspect given lifetime immunity against the charges pecific to that case; the law enforcement personnel, as well as the prosecution and anyone else who, it can be shown, knowing abused the trust on which their power rests... should be tried on that evidence and upon conviction stripped their liberty and property to the extent that the law allows, on such capital offenses.

The US Constitition is not a suicide pact... it is a legal foundation which established the fundamental rules by which the US Federal Government will comport itself in its execution of the power ENTRUSTED TO IT BY: the Individuals of the citizenry.

No US citizen who is not engaged in making war against the US has lost one scintilla of a single right which they possess as a function of their sacred endowment... The US Constitution does not provide ANYONE with ANY RIGHTS.

The US Constitution merely provides for civil protections, WHERE THE INDIVIDUAL, CITIZEN OR NOT IS COMPORTING THEMSELVES AS AN HONEST BROKER, ENGAGED IN PEACEFUL PURSUITS, THROUGH MORALLY SOUND, SUSTAINABLE, PRINCIPLED BEHAVIOR... THOSE PROTECTIONS DO NOT EXTEND TO THOSE WHO ARE ENGAGED IN THE MAKING OF WAR AGAINST THE UNITED STATES.

Not then, not now... NOT EVER!

Now does that clear it up for ya SIS?
