Candidates Join Perry's Lawsuit

(CNN) - Four candidates left off the Virginia Republican primary ballot joined Rick Perry Saturday in suing the state's board of elections over laws they say are "unconstitutional."

Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum joined the lawsuit, originally filed Tuesday, challenging provisions that determine who can appear on the primary ballot.

On Wednesday, Gingrich cited fraud as the reason he didn’t make it onto the ballot, laying the blame on one of his campaign's paid volunteers.

"We hired somebody who turned in false signatures. We turned in 11,100 – we needed 10,000 – 1,500 of them were by one guy who frankly committed fraud,” Gingrich said.

This field is so full of fail.

Newt's inability to even get a strong campaign organziation doesn't bode well for his ability to inspire confidence as POTUS, does it?

He cannot even find support in the GOP community, for goodness sakes.

The man has zero personal responsibility.

OK, so filing suit to right a wrong is now considered a "bailout"? IN what liberal LaLaLand is that the case?
The only fail here is the OP.

Overturning an existing law is most definitely activism.

It's their only hope.

The GOP field needs an activist judge to bail them out of their failure in Virginia.

The ongoing theme here being that the GOP field is full of fail.

Exercising judicial review is activism? In what corner of liberal LaLaLand?

Ignorance and stupidity seem to be the theme of this thread.

Newt's poll numbers are too big for him to fail.

He must be bailed out.

An activist judge is his only chance.

If you repeat things often enough someone will believe them. You've learned from Goebbels and the Democratic Party.

Resisting unjust and unconstitutional laws is what the GOP does. Passing them is what the Democrats do.

The RINO and RON PAUL must be stopped.

Even though all of the candidates knew the rules going in and despite their lack of personal responsibility, these candidates must be bailed out and put on the ballot.

Help them, activist Virginia judges, you're their only hope.

Just don't ask Rick Perry to name three reasons why he should be bailed out.....

Much like the illegal aliens in this country, Rick Perry and his lawsuit filing cohorts didn't follow the proper channels in Virginia but are now demanding a spot at the front of the line.

This field is so full of fail.

Your thread is full of fail. None of them are asking for a bailout.

It'd have been funnier if they'd disqualified all the candidates.

Then made Virginia GOP primary voters swear allegiance to vote for the GOP candidate. You know, the one they couldn't vote for in the primary.

I agree. These candidates are totally not asking for an activist judge to bail them out of their failure to meet the standards they were aware of going into this race. That's not happenin' at all.

Since they totally aren't doing that, perhaps they should ask the hard working, responsible, and signature rich candidates Mitt Romney and RON PAUL to trickle some of their petition signatures down on them instead?

What kind of a fucked up political party would demand such a thing in this day and age?

Oh, wait....
