When I moved out here, one of the first times a copter flew overhead I heard the term 'Ghetto Bird,' as it kept circling. One time one of them had their spotlight on me and my building. Spooky. I have no clue what or who they were actually looking for. I do know I was puzzled and a bit concerned I might be shot at -- by the police. I guess I walked into my building as an incident was underway. Other than this and a few incidents, relatively safe and quiet out here.
